“I will declare your righteousness And your works, For they will not profit you. 13 When you cry out, Let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will carry them all away, A breath will take them. But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land, And shall inherit My holy mountain.” Isaiah 57
“From the depths of the earth I hear my people call out to Me. I hear their cries for help in this hour. I see their struggles and I know of their pain. I AM here to help them; and yet many still do not believe. With every waking moment, I hear their pleas for help. I AM a Father who truly cares about the plight of my people.
But what is to be said about those who do not believe in Me? What is to be said about a people who follow after their own desires and they who would follow after other gods? For I tell you that even my own choose a way that is other than my own.
I AM that I AM, and I will not give my worship unto another. For even those things that you dwell upon, and that you consume your time with, are now becoming the idols to yourselves. They may not be things of wood or stone, but they occupy your hearts and minds more than Me. Will they save you on the day of trouble? Will they keep the buildings all around you from falling upon you? Go ahead, pray to them, I’m sure that they will help you on that day. ”
