Excuses, excuse, excuses!  That is all I hear.  I listen to all excuses that are made by my children of why they think it is ok to stay in sin.

  1. God will let me in, I am a good person.
  2. I gave my allegiance to Jesus, I am saved.
  3. The Bible rules are suggestions only.
  4. The Bible has been changed over the years.
  5. I’m not hurting anyone with what I am doing.
  6. What I do is minor and will be overlooked.

The list goes on and on.  If I wanted sin, I would have never asked all to repent and then stay away from those sins.

(John the Baptist’s baptism was a public act of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. He preached a “baptism of repentance” in the wilderness and baptized people in the Jordan River as they confessed their sins. This baptism signified a change in heart and a turning away from sin, preparing people for the coming of Jesus.)

My Word is rich with examples of how to live your life.  My Word tells of scenarios that did not go well for Kings and commoners who sinned.  My Word explains who will make it into my Kingdom and who will not.

(Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.)

My Words are a collection of Words.  It is not a pick and choose buffet of what you wish to adhere to or not.  Read my full Word to get an explanation of how to live.  Don’t count on others to give you their snippets of how “they” have interpreted my Word.

Each child of mine is responsible for their own actions and directions they take in life.  Your soul is dependent on righteousness and many other factors.  Read your instruction book, “The Bible” (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) and adhere to what I Am expects of you.
