“What can be said about a nation that has gone the way of Cain? What can be said about a land that has gone its own way to demonstrate its willfulness and demands that its ways are right?
You were once chosen as a land that would bring my light unto the people; but now your light has gone out. You once were the salt of the earth, but now that salt has been trampled under foot.
How can you return to that where you once were before? No, I tell you that you are on a moving train to destruction, and soon that track will be running into a cliff. How can one build up the breeches when many think that all is well?
Your children are disillusioned for their hope has been lost. Woe to those who call evil good and insist upon their own ways. Where will you run to and where will you hide when judgment comes to your doors?
Seek that rock–that high tower, for He alone can save you on the day of destruction.”
