Highway of Holiness

The Lord has released me to share what He is telling His Remnant in this hour. Please pray before reading, asking the Holy Spirit to minister this message for confirmation and revelation as to how it applies to you. It is longer than my average posts, so I’ve attached an audio excerpt from when it was shared with my prayer group for those who might prefer listening. Please read (or listen) to the end, because everything is brought together at that point giving much encouragement to His people.
Late in the afternoon on July 15th, my body was hit by what felt like a freight train, with fever and congestion suddenly coming upon me. The following is what had happened just before, then after, that point.
After several days in this condition, I became so weak I could only go back and forth between my bed and my recliner in the front room. That is all I could manage to do; when I got tired of laying down, I would go recline in my chair. It was about two or three days in, that I had the first of two out-of-body experiences. I went to sit in my recliner when…
All I can tell you about it right now is that I was suddenly in heaven, standing and listening to Jesus tell me all kinds of things as He was pointing my eyes towards various scenes. There were colors like I have never seen, and all kinds of shapes and images He was pointing out. In one sequence there was what looked like an unrolling, and then rolling together of the things He was showing. I was receiving and understanding all He was telling me, when suddenly, I was “deposited” back into my body.
My body was slumped over the side of my recliner, with my arm hanging down touching the floor! I obviously had only just sat, not even reclining yet, when taken. The biggest shocker was that I could not remember ONE WORD Jesus had told me! All I had retained were general images and impressions; even the vibrant colors seen were now “muted” in my memory. It happened again the next day, except this time I was lying awake in my bed when taken.
This time, after being deposited back into my body, I cried out to Him, “Lord, why is this happening? Why am I not remembering anything You are telling me?”
The morning after the 2nd occurrence, He woke me up saying, “I want to give you instructions.” He let me know what had been said and shown had not been lost, but deposited into my spirit, and would be brought forth according to His timing. He made very clear His instructions would be forthcoming; and within a few days the Holy Spirit began bringing a few things forth, which I will share a portion of now.
July 28th, I was awakened at 1:30 am with the Lord saying, “The whole head is sick.” He said this several times as it dawned on me, my head was sick! And it was affecting my entire body. The Holy Spirit let me know my physical condition was being used in order to get my attention, to show me the condition of the entire church; and that it was also affecting His very remnant – you and me. The whole head is sick. It was then He began to show what He was talking about.
Upon hearing “the whole head is sick,” I got up immediately to go read the verses God was speaking. In Isaiah 1:4-5, it says,
“Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evil doers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should you be stricken any more? You will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.”
He’s speaking to the southern kingdom of Judah, because judgment on the northern 10 tribes had already been pronounced and they were soon taken into captivity and scattered among the nations, never to return until the days just ahead of us. The book of Isaiah is like a miniature Bible in that it gives the story of the plan of God. It talks about Israel; the whole house of Israel sinning, as well as the entire earth sinning, and God bringing His judgement upon the entire earth. Then it talks about the Messiah coming and the Kingdom of God being set up for the millennial rule of Jesus Christ.
In Isaiah, chapter 2, He speaks of the latter days when God comes to rule, at which time the people would say, “Come and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
In chapter 35 we see where a highway is built to bring His people (those that were scattered among the nations) back to the Land of Israel, and that highway is called “The highway of holiness;” and it says the unclean shall not pass over it… the redeemed shall walk there: and the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion…” This will be the fulfillment of the promises of God for the physical nation of Israel. A time when all nations (gentiles) will be taught God’s ways, as the Law and Word of the Lord go forth from Jerusalem. All the nations will be excited to be taught the ways of God, greatly desiring to walk His path to follow the law and Word of God coming from Jerusalem during Millennium. How different is that from today, where anything to do with the laws and the Word of God regarding holiness are looked down upon – even within the church – and considered “legalism.”
As I was reading Isaiah, the Holy Spirit kept saying, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” The Lord had been saying this to me for about three weeks prior to being hit with the illness. It began when I came across a news article about the effects of mixing fabrics in our clothing, and shared it with the prayer group.
The Lord instructed His people in Deuteronomy 22:11, not to wear a garment of mingled cloth, as of wool and linen together. The various translations make it plain, that it’s speaking of having a garment or a cloth mingled with different fibers, such as a wool and linen mixed together in the fabric. They have found through scientific research there is an energy frequency in the material our clothing is made from. Our human body has an average healthy (electrical/energy frequency of 100. Pure organic cotton has the same – about 100. If you wear material with lower frequency than your body – it puts a strain on your body. For example, a diseased, close to death, human has a frequency output of 15 – the same as polyester, rayon, and all the man-made junk register. It puts a drain on our life energy level. But linen and wool have a 5,000-frequency output! They are called super-fabrics because of this. But if you fail to follow God’s instruction and MIX THEM, they cancel each other out – the energy field is collapsed to zero! It’s because, with these two fabrics, the energy from one flows from left to right, and the other flows right to left.
So, to follow the instructions in God’s word, you need to stay away from mixture, the man-made polyesters, spandex and such that they add to cotton, wool, linen. God’s word instructs us to go 100% through and through, whether it be cotton, linen, wool, etc. The Lord gave these instructions all those millennia ago – for our health – for our good. He did not tell us anything about energy or frequencies, because most would not have understood those things until our day when knowledge has increased. Although man may not have known the reason for these instructions, the enemy most certainly did!
Since God told His people not to mix fibers, the enemy has worked feverishly to make sure fibers are mixed in about any garment you can find. The devil is using every avenue available to weaken and destroy man’s DNA, to reduce its activation through the centuries. We know sin in general is the cause of this weakening. We now find ourselves at the point where we must purposely search for 100% garments or make them ourselves.
When I came across this information is when the Holy Spirit first said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Even though most of us knew the Word said not to mix fabric, we did not realize it had to do with our health and well-being. But God’s Word has much to say about attire:
In Leviticus 16:3-5, the priestly garments of those who served in the temple were of fine linen. When the High Priest went into the holy of holies on the day of Atonement, He was in linen from head to toe. Everything pointing to Jesus from the beginning – our Great High Priest. Priests and Kings wore linen. Jesus wore linen, and was wrapped in linen at His burial. The Bride of Jesus will be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints (Rev. 19:8). Much has been said about the healing properties of linen. Lepers were to be clothed in linen or wool. No fabric compares to the healing properties of linen; there’s nothing like it. Linen even repels radiation. God said His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Our bodies are being weakened and destroyed by ignorance of the instructions God gave His people long ago. And clothing is just one area of this lack of knowledge:
After being reminded of His instructions about mixing fabrics, He then had me read ALL of Deuteronomy. Although Deuteronomy is 1 of 5 Torah books, it was considered the 2nd Torah by many Israelites, and some refer to it as THE Torah. It is the Book of Remembrance containing the law and commandments given to the 2nd generation Israelites. Deuteronomy is Moses giving Israel final instructions before they cross the Jordan to enter enemy territory!
Deuteronomy 31:12 says, “Gather the people together, men, women, and children, and your stranger that is within your gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law.”
As mentioned, the Lord was having me go through the book of Deuteronomy just before I got ill. There were several things brought to my attention:
Moses prophesied about the days when Israel would rebel against God and be scattered among the nations. As we read about this, keep in mind the book of Deuteronomy was Moses’ final instructions to the children, whose parents had sinned grievously against God, about whom God said they would not enter the promised land; that instead, He would take their children in. All of Deuteronomy was addressed to the children – who were getting ready to cross the Jordan. Is this not where we are right now? God has spoken to us about this very thing – preparing to cross over into enemy territory. He’s preparing US now! It was Moses’ farewell address to Israel, with specific instructions for them before they entered enemy territory to take the land.
Moses said in Deuteronomy 4:26-27,
“I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that you shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto you go over Jordan to possess it; you shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and you shall be left few in number among the heathen where the Lord shall lead you.” Dropping down to verse 29-31, “But if from there you shall seek the LORD your God, you shall find Him, if you seek Him with your whole heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to the LORD your God, and shall be OBEDIENT TO His voice: He will not forsake you, neither destroy you, or forget the COVENANT OF YOUR Fathers which He swore unto them.”
Are we getting the parallel here? Many of you reading this have been shown YOU are an Israelite (I personally have been shown this). If so, you have come from those who were “scattered among the nations.” God is saying to us, “But if from there you shall seek the LORD your God, you shall find Him, if you seek Him with your whole heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to the LORD your God, and shall be OBEDIENT TO His voice: He will not forsake you, neither destroy you, or forget the COVENANT OF YOUR Fathers which He swore unto them.”
Moses prophesied of Jesus in Deuteronomy 18:15-19, “The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like me: unto Him you will hearken; according to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the Lord said to me, “They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like you, and will put my words in His mouth; and He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him. And it shall come to pass that whoever will not hearken to my words which He will speak in my name, I will require it of him.”
Jesus confirmed Moses’ was writing of Him in John 5:45-47, Jesus said, “Don’t think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom you trust. For had you believed Moses, you would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe my words.” Here Jesus is telling the Pharisees, saying, the fact they did not listen to Moses or believe his writings would be what condemns them.
Jesus also said something most do not believe today, in Matthew 5:17-19),
“Think not that I have come to destroy the law or the prophets: I have not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say to you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
Do you believe this? Well, heaven and earth HAS NOT PASSED YET. Jesus said not one thing would pass from the law until heaven and earth passes away and all things are fulfilled. And notice what Jesus says about those who break them, or teaches men to do so! Then Jesus proceeds to mention a few of the commandments, expanding them to show the spiritual intent behind them!
Here again, God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, and the whole head is sick.” As mentioned above, the Lord began by speaking about the amazing health benefits of following His instructions regarding our clothing. But there are other instructions He gave us for our good; meant to bless us, whether for the health of our body and/or to bless us with peace and rest as we grow in intimacy with Him.
Clean and Unclean Meats: They were originally spoken about in Genesis 7, where God told Noah to take the unclean animals into the ark by twos, but the clean animals were to be taken in by sevens. This was not new to Noah, but by the time God took Israel out of Egypt, the Israelites had to be taught the things of God anew. In Leviticus 11, God gave the Israelites instructions on which animals they could eat. He told them that to eat the unclean was an abomination – a defilement – and would make them unclean before God. This was emphasized again in Deuteronomy 14 as Moses gave final instructions to Israel before they crossed over the Jordan. In verse 3 he says,
“You shall not eat any abominable – detestable thing.” Guys, this is how God looks at it. Jesus and the first century disciples kept the dietary instructions of God. Remember what Jesus said, He did NOT come to destroy but to fulfill the law and prophets, and nothing would pass from the law till heaven and earth pass away. Let me quickly give a few scriptures that have been misunderstood, or misused, which are not speaking of clean/unclean meat.
Acts 10:9-16, Peter was shown the vision of the sheet with all manner of beasts and told to kill and eat. Notice he did NOT jump to the conclusion that God had nullified the command to not eat unclean animals. He said, “Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything common or unclean.” Instead, he wondered in himself what the vision should mean.” Then down in verse 28, Peter gives the conclusion of what God had shown him, saying he was not to call any man common or unclean. This was when God was beginning to show salvation had been opened to the gentiles through Jesus Christ.
Romans 14:1-3, the subject was vegetarianism – not clean/unclean meat
1Cor 8, and also 1 Cor. 10:25, the subject was meat offered to idols – not clean/unclean meat
1 Timothy 4:3-5, Again, this was talking about all the various winds of doctrine going around about a host of subjects. Ask yourself what has been sanctified by the word of God as Timothy references.
Isaiah 65:2-4, “I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walk in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts; A people that provoke me to anger continually to my face; that sacrifices in gardens and burns incense upon altars of brick; which remain among the graves and lodge in the tombs, which eat swine’s flesh and broth of unclean meats in their vessels.”
Isaiah 66:17 says, “They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the Lord.” How much plainer does God need to be on this subject?
Many illnesses could be avoided by not poisoning our bodies with toxic meats. Through the years, quite a few doctors have privately told their patients to follow the dietary guidelines of the Bible to avoid heart disease, cancers, and such. These instructions were given by God for our good. Let’s look at one more thing the Lord stresses over and over in His Word:
The Sabbath: The Sabbath was created and instituted during creation week after God created man on the 6th day. It says in Genesis 2: 1-3, that God ended His work and rested on the 7th day from all His work and God BLESSED THE 7TH DAY AND SANCTIFIED IT. The 7th day Sabbath points to many things; one of those being the millennial Kingdom of God – that 7th thousand-year period when man has finished HIS works and finally enters the Rest of God.
Not only does the 4th commandment tell us to sanctify and keep the Sabbath holy, but the Sabbath was also to be the identifying sign forever between God and His people forever. In Exodus 31:12-17, the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
“Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.”
By not receiving this blessing, God’s people are in a constant state of toiling, stress and burn out. This was not what our God wanted for man. In Isaiah 58:13-14, the LORD says,
“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the Lord, honorable; And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
And look at Isaiah 66:22-24, “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me, says the LORD, so shall your descendants and your name remain. And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me, says the LORD. And they shall go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, and their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all fresh.” Verses 16-17 make plain this is after the second coming of Jesus – going into the millennium.
WOW! Are we seeing this? Again, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Jesus said the Sabbath was made FOR MAN – not man for the Sabbath. It was meant to be a delight – a refreshment to man. If God’s people keep the Sabbath, calling it a delight, He says He will cause us to ride upon the high hills of the earth, and will feed us with the heritage of Jacob (Israel) our Father!
Everything Points to Jesus:
Everything from Genesis to Revelation points to Jesus. Jesus IS THE WORD of God (John 1). The Bible is God breathed. Jesus tells us to not think He came to destroy the law or prophets. Till heaven and earth pass away NOTHING will pass from the law until all is fulfilled. His commandments and instructions are still in effect for His people and will continue through His millennial reign.
By the time Jesus came the first time, so much had been added to the original law/instructions of God, that it had become very heavy and burdensome for the people. They had added all these rituals and washings; lists and lists of add-ons. It had become salvation by works. Jesus said in Mark 7:5-9, “Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, ‘Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?”
He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men; the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do. All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.”
The Pharisees and teachers of the law continually accused Jesus of breaking the Sabbath, blasphemy, and not following the tradition of the elders. Because they had added so much, the original law/instructions were no longer recognized, but buried underneath their traditions. Notice Jesus said they had laid aside the commandment of God for all their traditions.
This is what the church faced with new converts. The Pharisee converts would get in and start heaping on all their work requirements again. This is what Paul was referring to in his letter to the Galatians. What had begun with faith in Jesus (Romans 1:17) was reverting to a salvation by works.
There is absolutely nothing we can do to earn our salvation! We are saved by grace, not by works. We cannot perfectly follow the commands/instructions of God of our own selves. We will always fail in our attempts. That is what Jesus came to do. He came to fulfill the requirements of the law for us! He came to redeem us from the curse of the law. Sin is the transgression of the law, and the wages of that sin is death. He paid the penalty for us. It is done! Our part is to repent of our sins, receive His sacrifice as payment, and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15)
As Peter said in 1 Peter 1:15-16, “But as He which has called you is holy, so be you holy in all manner of conduct; because it is written, ‘Be ye holy, even as I am holy.” Yes, we are saved by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. But Paul asked, “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.”
1 Peter 2:5,9, “You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ…You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a special/peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” God told the Israelites in Exodus 19:5-6, He said, “Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar/special treasure unto Me above all people: for all the earth is mine. And you shall be unto Me a Kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel.”
It must be understood; the devil is the lawless one (2 Thessalonians 2:8-10), and he hates everything that has been shared here. He HATES the Sabbath of God – because it was made for man, to bless and refresh man; he hates the Feasts of the Lord – because they point out God’s plan of salvation for mankind. He hates the dietary instructions of God – because his goal is to sicken, pollute, and defile the bodies of man. He hates every commandment/instruction given by our LORD to mankind, which leads him onto that “highway of holiness;” to fulfill the command to “Be ye holy even as I am holy.”
Ah, but God! Within His plan is a year of Jubilee for His people. The year of Jubilee, which took place every 50th year, was God’s Great Reset, in which everything that had been lost, stolen, or given away was given back to His people. It manifested as a physical and economic reset, but we know all things begin in the spirit before manifesting into the physical. This is what is taking place in this hour; all things being restored to the Remnant of God – to you and me. Even the memory of who we are – our identity in Jesus Christ – as first fruits unto God is being given back (see ‘Related Posts’ below). These first fruits unto God, will act as “forerunners” to lead and welcome the redeemed and ransomed of the LORD onto the Highway of Holiness, as they return to Zion with singing!
Let’s end with a much-quoted scripture we so look forward to, as we anticipate the wonders the Lord has in store for His people. This verse is speaking of the final thing Jesus came to give back to God’s people in a time just ahead of us. Man was originally crowned with glory and honor (Psalm 8:5). But after the fall of man, the glory of God (their covering) was removed. But it too will soon be given back to the people of God!
Isaiah 60:1-3, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”
Praise be to God! What an awesome God we serve!
