Actual quote from THE CHURCH OF SATAN founder Anton LeVay – “I am glad that Christian parents let their children worship the devil at least one night out of the year

Back when I grew up in the 1960’s, Halloween was a time that my school had a costume parade and some parties. In second grade, Mom came to school and dressed me for the parade.
I had one of those black masks that only covered my eyes, wore one of Mom’s old dresses, and a hat and (I believe gloves). Mom told me my teacher didn’t even know me!

In early grades, I remember coloring pumpkins and leaves for Autumn.

I remember enjoying trick or treating. That was a big thing. I’d go around to neighbors’ houses, ring the doorbell, and say, ‘Trick or Treat. I would usually get a piece of candy or candy bar.
Times were really much simpler back then.

I’m not defending Halloween; I’m just telling how it was when I was growing up. It really isn’t innocent now days like it was then. 🙁

  3. pray to be worthy

    Romans 12:2 Don’t conform.

Repetition creates conformity. My Grandparents smoked 2-3 packs a smokes a day because cigarette ads were more repetitive back then.

Halloween is a parable, so are cigarettes.

The process of how conformity was enabled remains the same.

Glory to God for staying the same. Praise Jesus for speaking in parables.
