My daughter, concerning this matter of your “holy” day, Halloween, it is a great atrocity in my sight. Indeed, it is a worship of that which is dead, the opposite of that which I delight in. Those who love me obey me and delight in my truth. My truth is light. They who love me are light in darkness. The darkness loves that which is death. Listen, my daughter, does anything good come from the shadows? Yea, though you walk THROUGH the shadows of death, you will fear no evil, for I am with you. My dear children, indeed you must walk THROUGH shadows because you walk in a world of shadows. My light is eclipsed because of the evil that has overcome many people on the earth. I have not asked that you be taken out of the world of shadows but that you have the strength to walk through them and overcome the evil and the darkness that is pervasive around you. BUT, never have I asked my children to walk INTO the darkness.
[I looked up the phrase “into darkness” in the Bible, and here was the pervasive theme: “They’ll be driven out into darkness; He will pursue his enemies into darkness; go into darkness, queen city of the Babylonians; He rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves; light has come into the world, but people loved darkness; but the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth; throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness.”]
Oh, you who are blind and deaf and dumb and ignorant and foolish and worthless children, you who cling to the world and who yet love the evil therein, you who refuse to turn your back from idols and worthless things, you who would want to play with fire and expect to not get burned, you who have hated me in your actions and cared nothing for me in your thoughts, you who speak my name on your lips on Sundays but care nothing for me when you are seeking your own pursuits during the rest of the week—DO YOU THINK I DO NOT NOTICE? It is no surprise at all that so many of my so-called children will dabble in the day that the world celebrates its darkness. Why not? They celebrate the rest of the world’s days. They flaunt themselves with the darkness the rest of the year, so why not on Halloween? But know this, that those who continue to stand undecided, thinking themselves to be my own children and yet continuing to fall into the patterns of this world—they will find themselves cast onto a bed of suffering. Do you want to dabble in darkness? I will give you darkness. Do you despise the light I give you? I will take it from you. Then you will weep and gnash your teeth when the door of salvation is shut to you. Then you will plead for me to save you, but it will be too late. Choose, oh you wayward children, whom you will serve! Do you find pleasure in the sacrifices of death that the world enjoys? Do you think it joyful to be entertained by werewolves and phantoms and all manner of witchcraft and scary things and darkness and death and skulls and bones—all those things that symbolize the work of sin and Satan? Those who rejoice in these things will have their fill in them.
2 Corinthians 6:17: “Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
