God’s Tears
I was looking out my kitchen window today at the falling rain and the water running down the window pain, when I heard in my spirit, “Those are my tears. I am weeping for the millions of people who are about to go to destruction.” You are weeping, Lord? I suddenly felt a deep heaviness enter my soul and I began to weep. “I weep because I groan for the people that I must destroy on account of sin.” Lord, you said millions of people? “Yes, my daughter, millions of people are going to die in one fell swoop as my judgments begin.”
I walked to another area of the kitchen and saw a box that read on the top line in bold letters, “Millions of people…” What?! I was stunned at the precise timing and means of that confirmation. Later in the day, I was in prayer and meditation when an image of hell came into my mind: a great cavern full of fire. I heard blood-curdling screams. I felt a shudder in my whole body. I then saw a large hole opening at the top of the cavern and people the size of cats (because I was watching from a vantage point that was a distance away) falling in en masse.
Then I prayed, Lord, these people are not dead yet. Please, is there any way at least some can be saved? “Yes, my daughter, I will save some; some will come to the brink of death and will be shaken out of their spiritual stupor, and I will meet with them and change their hearts. Others will see the many people die and will be shaken and will turn to me and live. But many others will curse me and continue to live for themselves.”
Zechariah 4:6: “Then he said to me, ‘This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.'”
Ezekiel 36:22-27: “‘Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came.And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Lord GOD, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.'”
