Get My Word In You – Rebecca Roberts

Holy Spirit said,

“I speak to you through My Words. Read them, read them, eat them, eat them until they become a part of you. Even if you do not remember them, I will bring them out of you at the appointed time.”

2 Cor 3:3, Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Since the beginning of time, satan has been working to pervert the Word of God.

He said to Eve, “Hath God said, ‘ye shalt not eat of every tree of the garden?'” and then satan said, “Ye shall not surely die.” The devil took God’s Word, twisted it causing Eve to question the truth of God’s Word.

In these last days, Jesus is shouting to His Bride,

“Do not be deceived, pay attention, get My Word in you, for in it is Life.”

A famine of the Word is coming. Write the Word on the tables of your heart. Do not delay. Time is running out. If the Word is not in you, you will surely die. The famine is coming.

Amos 8:11-13

11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:

12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.

13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.

  1. Robert

I often wonder why I don’t remember the Word as well as I should…this is a great confiramation because I know I know it better than it seems!

  2. Kathryn

I have had a traumatic brain injury 9 years ago and I have great difficulty remembering anything I read. I have been asking the Lord if my reading is doing me any good. This is answer to prayer.

This is so true – the Word is like food we eat, prayer is like air we breathe, obedience is like exercise – but it is by grace that we are saved, not of works.
