Like fine silk threads are my beloved to me. Each delicate and weak but when woven together by my hand they form a fabric fit for a king. Clothes that shimmer and reflect my glory. A garment that I am proud to were. Each thread, each life yielded to my will is precious to me. Even though you may see yourself as insignificant and easily broken, know that you are part of my master plan. I am seeking saints who are willing to bend to my will.

Before a silk thread can be spun it must be untangled from the cocoon. Only then can it be woven according to a new pattern. Without me you can do nothing. You cannot conform yourself to my will, only I can change your nature. But you must be willing to cooperate with my Spirit. Are you willing to be untangled from the pattern of this world? Are you willing to die to your old life so you can partake of my abundant life?

Scripture references

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

(Rom 12:1-2)

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

(Joh 15:4-5)

…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

(Php 2:12-13)

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

(Mat 5:6)

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

(Eph 3:20-21)
