James 4:4 (NIV) ~ “You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.”

Matthew 6:24 (NIV) ~ “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

Matthew 6:20-21 (BSB) ~ “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

John 15:19 (NIV) ~ “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”

The following Word From the LORD (see below) came to me in the middle of night, around 2:15 am on 8-24-19. I also posted this in the middle of the night as soon as I finished writing this up, for this is a prophetic picture of just how suddenly, unexpectedly the fire of judgement will fall.

“Friendship with the world leads to the road of fire and the destruction of your soul.
My people will see My holiness and fire of righteousness as I lead them.
The world will see My fiery wrath of judgement upon My return.
Don’t think you can befriend those who serve Satan and not get caught in the web of lies, for the dark forces are rising in the servants of evil, just like the power of My Spirit is rising on My servants.
Will you continue seeking that which fades away and will get burned up, or will you seek My will and My leading to continue your path in righteousness?
Don’t think you can free yourself from the forces of darkness without My presence, for mere religion does not set you free. No, you must have my abiding presence to take you through the trials, snares and traps the minions of evil intend to use to destroy your soul.
Fires of affliction can strengthen you for the battles ahead, if you abide in Me, but fires of affliction can destroy you if you turn your back on Me.
Think carefully what you wish your eternal destiny to be, for the testing of your soul will come when you least expect it.
Choose now.
Choose wisely.
Choose My will, My leading and My way so the salvation of your soul will not be cast aside for mere temporary false freedom that will come from the lying mouth of Obama who is determined to destroy your soul.
Take heed, My people, take heed for the battles ahead will not be overcome by your flesh, but by the power of My Spirit who will rise up within you to keep you in all truth.
The warriors of Satan will be released into your dimension at my command; these deluding forces will capture those who spiritually do not want the truth.
It’s coming when you least expect it; the testing of your faith that no other generation has seen before or after you.
Cast aside all that binds you in doubt and turn to Me, Your Savior and King.
The forces of evil have been planning for centuries on how they can take all of Adam’s seed to the lake of fire, for they know that is their future destiny; don’t let it be yours.
Preach the good news of My Kingdom as I lead you through the dark days unfolding; you’ll know when to speak and when to remain silent.
The fire of My Holiness will shine through those who are Mine.
Purity and righteousness will be the character of those who are Mine.
Take captive all thoughts of evil; for these are darts of doubt to cause you to stumble.
Repent.
Forgive.
Get ready in the secret place with Me and you will stay in peace during the tumult ahead.”
