I believe this is a revelation from the Word of the Lord, a revelation for our lives: when you are in His Name, you are marked by Him. When you are marked by His Name and surrender to it, you will receive power, breakthrough, and transformation from the Lord. On April 24, 2026, the Lord led me to read Revelation 3:8, regarding the Church in Philadelphia. God gave me the opportunity to re-examine His Name. I believe we can begin with the Words of Scripture:
“Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians2:1-11
The Father bestowed the Name above all names upon His only begotten Son. Everyone can speak the Name of the Lord Jesus, and many Christians claim to do this or that in His Name. They declare: “Everything we do is in the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach.” However, in many moments of our lives, we are not truly acting in His Name. We cannot simply utter His Name with our lips while our lives, consciousness, thoughts, emotions, will, and conduct remain outside the authority of that Holy Name.
“Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men.”
Isaiah29:13
Our Messiah, the Lord Jesus, quoted these words of the prophet Isaiah to the Pharisees and scribes. At that time, the perception and attitude of Israel toward Jesus fulfilled the prophecy spoken by the prophet thousands of years prior. Because they did not recognize Jesus as the Messiah, they denied Him, humiliated Him, and ultimately crucified Him. They honored God with their lips, but their hearts were far from the Lord who stood before them. We must ask ourselves: is this same situation being reenacted in our own lives? Do we claim to act in God’s Name, while effectively crucifying the Lord all over again?
This is the guidance given to us through the Lord’s revelation in our lives. His Holy Name is so full of power and authority; many of us have experienced this—when you command and cast out unclean spirits in the Name of the Lord, the evil spirits in the spiritual realm tremble at the very sound of His Name. We are saved by the Name of the Lord, and in our journey of faith, we shall also overcome by His Name. When we come in the Name of the Lord, His presence is there, and He is manifested. That Name releases the light of the Lord God, which the evil one cannot endure. The enemy will cry out, “Do not come near!” and flee back to where he belongs. Lord Jesus is the King of the spiritual realm, and His Name is mighty—it is the Name above every name, possessing the supreme authority of the Most High God, far above the authority of all earthly kings.
Yahweh is the Self-Existent and Eternal One. When He revealed His Name to Moses, He declared: “I AM WHO I AM.” He is everything. He says: “I AM Righteousness, I AMthe Healer,
I AM Shalom And Wholeness,I AM the Shepherd…” He is All and the Source of all things. His Name itself proclaims that He is the All-encompassing One. Even when we introduce ourselves (saying “I am…”), we must first utter His Name, for He is above us and is the Sovereign Lord of our lives.
After thousands of years, on a certain night when He was to be arrested, the Roman soldiers asked, “Are you Yeshua?” Lord Jesus replied, “I AM.” From the mouth of the “I AM” proceeded the declaration “I AM.” In that moment before He went to the cross, Lord Jesus proclaimed that He is that very “I AM”—He is the God of the Old Testament. When He fulfilled His mission on the cross and completed the Father’s will, the Father bestowed upon Him the Name above every name. As the Book of Philippians says, this Name surpasses everything in heaven and on earth. This means that every name of the “I AM” in the Old Testament, every divine attribute within those names, and every power they contained are now all encompassed within Lord Jesus through the New Covenant of His completed redemption.
Just as the Lord Jesus said:
“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
—John 14:13-14
The Lord also said:
“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
—Matthew 18:18-20
Today, how do we enter into the promises contained within the Name given to us by Lord Jesus? The Name of God must not be taken in vain.
“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.”
—Exodus 20:7
“And you shall not swear by My name falsely, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.”
—Leviticus 19:12
“We must fear the Lord and never blaspheme Him; this is how we honor and respect God. Even when we pray in His Name, we are still within a relationship. No one likes to be treated with indifference, and no one wants their name to be misused—just as you wouldn’t want someone to do something you disagree with and then use your name to claim, ‘This is what you said.’
If we want God to honor us, we must honor Him. It is more than just a name; it is a relationship of mutual respect. When we are in a right relationship with God, His life and the power within His Holy Name are released among us. We must honor His Name as something precious that cannot be shamed or trampled upon. Every day, we should remember that we are His glorious children, and let our actions and words bring honor to His Holy Name.”
When we read the words the Lord once spoke, we must seek to feel what He feels and understand His heart. He said:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
—Matthew 7:21-23
When we come in His Name, we must obey Him. This demonstrates that His Name and obedience are inextricably linked. If we mention His Name but do not obey Him, it is merely an empty shell—like a body without a soul.
The apostles came to the gate called Beautiful and said to the man who was lame from birth :
“Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. ” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God.”
—Acts 3:1-9
They released the power of God’s Holy Name. We often focus on the miracle itself, but do we notice that God is speaking to us about “life”? Is the Yeshua , Lord Jesus the ‘All in All’ of our lives?”May we truly dwell within His Holy Name.

“Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, ‘Look at us.’ So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
