I believe this word is associated with the following verses below. The Lord is patient but there comes a point when he will not hold back his fury and power upon the wicked. It is so important to turn away from sin and truly repent to stay under the protection of our Lord Jesus. He loves us and thus warns us and encourages us to stay in faith. God always wins.
Nahum 1:3 The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And the Lord will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. In whirlwind and storm is His way, And clouds are the dust beneath His feet.
