FIRE!!!!

On March 23, this week, the Lord called me to stop and drop everything, and sit with Him alone for a time…so I went totally quiet.
That first day, I had sat down in my prayer chair (closet), and shut my eyes to listen for Him when my smoke alarm blasted twice. I jumped up, saw and smelled nothing, but ran into my kitchen thinking, I didn’t have anything on the stove! And there was nothing wrong.
I came back to my chair, sat down, and again closed my eyes to seek Him. The instant I closed my eyes, the smoke alarm blasted again. This happened several times in just a minute or two, every time I would close my eyes (I’m sure you’re already picking up on that part of what He was saying). I kept expecting my landlady beneath me on the first floor to call to find out what was happening.
As shrill as that alarm is, I came to realize it was in the Spirit and only I heard it. I believe it blasted 8 times…and by that time I was afraid to close my eyes again! But when I did once more it had finally stopped.
Seeking the Lord, He told me our nation is going to burn. And in the number 8, which signifies a new beginning, He was declaring a WOE; a whole new path, with no turning back….which is no surprise to anyone with eyes to see. But this morning He told me to release this. I pray His words will catch the eyes of those He wants it to.
Jeremiah 51:58
” Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary.”
