Accolades, prayers, petitions, promises, pledges and pleas; these things you have done, and I kept silence; you thought that I was just like you. My people perish for lack of knowledge. You honor me with your lips, but your heart is far from Me. You desire healing but have no desire to know The Healer.
Did I not warn? Did I not admonish, have I not exhorted you to awaken from your slumber? Have I not spoken through my prophets and watchmen to repent of your rebellion, trust Me and seek righteousness? Yet you continued in your sin; greedy, wicked and immoral. The heart of God grieves for what is happening. I desired to bless but nation after nation desired none of Me. My Name a byword, My Truth twisted, maligned, mocked. The time had come, judgment was overdue.

Say to them, ‘As I live!’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die? Cast away from you all your transgressions which you have committed…for what will it profit a man if he gain the whole world and forfeit his soul. Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Do not be afraid; fear and timidity are never God’ will for His people. To be controlled by fear means the death of faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Fear is never an option for the children of God.
