Falling in His Hands, from Cliff to Shore

In a dream vision, the Holy Spirit placed me atop a large grassy hill next to a lake. For some reason unknown to me, I began to hike down the hill to the lake. I was wearing normal clothing and shoes, and at first the descent appeared to be a smooth walk with a gentle slope. But quickly, the hill became steeper, with less grass and more loose dirt and rocky outcroppings. I had to be very careful where I placed my feet so I would not slip and tumble down what soon resembled a small cliff. In fact, the slope became so steep that I had to stand on a larger rock and cling to the smaller rocks and tufts of grass of the cliff. Standing on this rock, I heard the voice of the Lord say, “You will fall.”
Because the rock outcropping I stood on appeared large and stable, I did not believe I would fall. But then the rock under my feet started to wobble and shift, and I lost my balance. I was high enough up that I knew my fall would tear my flesh and break my bones as I slid and banged against the cliff on my way down to the rocky beach of the lake. The rock I stood on gave way, and as I broke my hold of the cliffside, I prayed to the Lord for my safety and protection.
Suddenly, instead of plunging down the cliffside under the gravity of my own weight, I found myself floating in the air at the same elevation, but a few feet away from the cliff. I had asked the Lord to protect me, but I did not expect Him to pull me away from the cliff and make me float in midair! Then I felt the invisible force of His hand pull me further away from the cliff and hold me about 30 feet above the water of the lake. I was thankful that the Lord would soften my fall by letting me plunge into water instead of onto hard rocks. I would get wet, and I had no change of clothes with me, but that would be alright. At least, I would be healthy and alive.
Then I felt the hand of the Lord steer me gently down, not into the water but instead onto the shore of the lake, not directly under the cliff but nearby to the left of it. My feet planted softly on the dry shore, I rejoiced that the Lord had been merciful enough to let me fall in a very special way, a supernatural way that no one could attribute to any other force but God.
When I awoke from this dream vision, I felt so loved by God. Though I was told I would fall, my Lord and Savior steered my body safely through every inch of my fall. He brought me to safety in a way that was unmistakably His own so that I would know his love and never forget it. I would testify of His saving hand to His glory.
Upon waking, I also realized that God’s words, “You will fall,” were spoken to me as an American remnant Christian caught up in the greater falling of my entire nation. America will fall, but those within America who love and call out to the Lord for help will receive it in miraculous ways, feeling God’s presence and guiding hand navigating them to safety. Thanks be to God.
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them.
Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
“For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”
“Moreover, thou shalt say unto them, ‘Thus saith the Lord; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?’”
“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.”
