Eternity in the Wrong Place is Forever

I know you are there leading me and guiding me.  You created me for a purpose, a reason.  No matter which route or path I take, I know I am responsible for my ultimate decisions, that I make along the way.  My purpose is ultimately tied to those around me.  Whether I see that purpose or follow that path you have laid out for me, is my decision.  Not all decisions are good for the soul.  Some journeys we take bring us farther from the source (God).  Others cement the path to salvation.

Our barometer is tied to our heart strings.  Each of us ultimately know what is right or wrong.  We were fine tuned and put together with this inherent knowledge.  Those internal buzzers we feel when paths are compromised, go off, so we can self-correct.  But many do not listen or care enough to change direction.  They plunder forward in the flesh for self-gratification whether it be for lust, money, or power.  When we take US out of the equation, we generally have a pure direction we can follow.

Nothing was ever made to be simple or easy while negotiating Earth.  All is tied to decisions we make along our journey.  It is never too late to change, until our last dying breath.  But not all will have that last repentive breath before exiting this World.  For we never know when our last breath will be.  Don’t wait too long, for eternity in the wrong place is forever.
