Earthquake Protection – Liz

Earthquake Protection

July 2, 2020 2:16 AM

On January 11, 2018 I dreamt that I was expecting an earthquake to come. I was told I could ask for one thing, anything, for protection. I couldn’t see the person but I knew it was God, and I knew I really could ask for anything. There was no limit as to what I could ask for. My mind went blank because I had no clue what was needed in times of earthquake, but He waited patiently for my answer. Then I saw there was a default package that I could choose. It was a small backpack with some bananas and clothes. I figured this will work since it was provided by God Himself. Amazingly in the end we survived precisely because we had these bananas and clothes!

I think the bananas symbolize a genuine faith that produces fruit. The clothes are white garments given by the Lord, and symbolize our being washed from our sins in His blood. And so these are what protect us when the earthquake comes.

  1. Thank you for sharing this. I believe your interpretation is exactly right and this in it’s simplicity is SO important. I believe we will not survive what is now and what is coming without the fruit of GOD’s love in our hearts strengthen us and overflowing to the lost. Your dream and interpretation is an encouragement to me.

In the dream I could ask for anything for protection only, and not for any other purposes. Sorry I should have made it clearer.

I had an older dream from 2017 where I was also told I could ask and receive, and I know that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us (1 John 5:14).

In that older dream I was in a cozy but elegant dining room in a mansion. There were 2 tables and father was seated at the other table. It was like how things were when I was small – all the adults would sit at one table and the children would sit at the table next to them, and I felt like a little child inside again, safe and being taken care of.

The children’s table waited a long time for the next course of the meal to arrive and everyone left, some earlier, some later. In the end I was sitting there all by myself. Finally I got up and went to see how things were at the kitchen. The kitchen was huge and really, really clean, but there was only one person there. She was a 5-star chef and was preparing food all by herself in that huge kitchen. I told her I had always loved her cooking, then I said I would ask father to send her helpers.

I went back to the dining room and go to father who was seated at a table. While I was still walking, he communicated with me telepathically and said he would give me whatever I ask. And John 14:13 was immediately brought to mind: “Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” He promised to give even before I asked, and of course he already knew what was in my mind. I felt awkward not using my voice, so I went up to him and asked using my voice to please send people to help in the kitchen. That was the only thing I asked.

When I saw father I realized it was the first time I saw him and I felt very awkward. I knew I should show him respect but I didn’t know how and didn’t know what to say. I wasn’t prepared to meet him. It was too unexpected. There’s more to the interaction but I won’t recount here.

I believe the food is God’s Word, and the chef is a servant of God serving spiritual food. And when I asked for father to send helpers in the kitchen, that reminds me of Matthew 9:37-38, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” And this is what I still pray for.
