Dream and word received 4/11/18
I have been in much prayer and meditation on the Word today, as I have been feeling very weak and ill and could do little else. I suddenly had an image in my mind of rain; it started out as light drops; then suddenly, it became a very intense torrent blown with the wind. I heard in my spirit:
This rain has already begun, in relatively light drops, but just as suddenly as the outpouring of Pentecost in Acts, there will be a great torrent of my Spirit poured out on my people, and as the Spirit blows according to my will, so is the rain blown by the wind.
Acts 2:1-4: “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
Matthew 3:11: “I [John] baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
John 3:8: “The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
John 16:13: “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”
and rejoice in the LORD your God,
for he has given the early rain for your vindication;
he has poured down for you abundant rain,
the early and the latter rain, as before.
the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
I will restore to you the years
that the swarming locust has eaten,
the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter,
my great army, which I sent among you.
and praise the name of the LORD your God,
who has dealt wondrously with you.
And my people shall never again be put to shame.
You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel,
and that I am the LORD your God and there is none else.

that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.
Even on the male and female servants
in those days I will pour out my Spirit.
we were like those who dream.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter,
and our tongue with shouts of joy;
then they said among the nations,
‘The LORD has done great things for them.’
The LORD has done great things for us;
we are glad.
like streams in the Negev!
Those who sow in tears
shall reap with shouts of joy!
He who goes out weeping,
bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts of joy,
bringing his sheaves with him.”
Joel 2:23-32: “Be glad, O children of Zion,
“The threshing floors shall be full of grain;
“You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
“And it shall come to pass afterward,
“And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the LORD calls.
After meditating on these things, I fell asleep and I dreamed two scenes. In the first, I was in a house and kept smelling intense smoke, and when I looked outside, there was a lot of fire, and I could not understand where it was coming from. However, it did not burn my house.
In the second scene, I was in a building with a bunch of people. The building contained very large floor-to-ceiling windows; I was thinking in my dream that I was in an airport. I looked outside and saw a great torrent of rain blown by the wind. Then I awoke

I heard in my spirit later, as I was thinking about the dream, that the fire of judgment was to coincide with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on God’s people. There would be much purging and refining to prepare the Bride for the Wedding of the Lamb, and those who put their hope in Christ would be protected– as in the first scene of my dream, the house where I was did not burn. The second scene was in an airport to remind the Bride that the Wedding is to be soon and that she is soon to take off. However, for a time, she will go through the tribulations, though as Noah was protected in the ark, so God’s people who hide themselves in Christ will be protected.
Daniel 12:10: “Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.”
Acts 14:22b: “…through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.”
Matthew 24:37: “As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.”
Revelation 3:10: “Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.”
Revelation 9:3-4: “Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth. They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.”
Psalm 126: “When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion,
“Restore our fortunes, O LORD,
Please take this to the Lord, that He might make clear to your spirit what He would have you to take from it.
