Dream: The Showdown – Diana Pulliam

The Showdown

By Diana Pulliam

The morning of May 15th, a sister in Christ asked me to contact her regarding a dream/vision she’d had before fully awakening that morning. She knew it was an urgent warning for the Bride.

This Saint is one of the Lord’s “hidden ones” who has been pulled aside to be taught by Him. I know her as a skilled warrior, rich in spiritual discernment. This was her dream:

I walked into a large mansion. As I entered, I saw a Bride. She was breathtakingly beautiful, and desirous of her Bridegroom, who hadn’t yet arrived. The wedding was soon to take place but the preparations weren’t complete. She was rushing throughout the many rooms of the mansion making last minute decisions and arrangements for the wedding.

As I scanned the room, I saw a man sitting on a sofa. He was dark and mysteriously handsome. He was so amazingly attractive and alluring, I found it difficult to keep my eyes off him. His focus was entirely upon the Bride, watching her every move.

The mysterious man continued to watch the Bride, his eyes full of lust for her. It was obvious he desired to have her for himself. His strong allure and good looks were somehow pulling at her and she knew she was in danger.

The Bride began to grow tired and seemed to lose her energy and vigor. She appeared “wilted.” At that time I remember thinking it would be good if she went to her dressing room to be refreshed before the ceremony.

I noticed the handsome man had a smug expression on his face, as if he knew he would soon have her! (End of Dream)

For a two day period surrounding the time of this dream, I had been hearing the word “Showdown” in my spirit.

The word ‘Showdown’ is defined as:

A final test or confrontation intended to settle a dispute

Synonyms: confrontation, clash, face-off

(in poker) the requirement at the end of a round that the players who remain in must show their cards to determine which is the strongest hand (emphasis added)

I knew it was somehow connected to her dream, but waited for the Lord to reveal more.

In the early morning hours of May 20th, upon awakening, the Holy Spirit whispered,

“Every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist…” (1John 4:2).

I began to earnestly pray for revelation as to how this was all connected. What did the Bride being in danger, the word “showdown.” and Jesus coming in the flesh have to do with each other? The Holy Spirit then began to show me.

Exactly one year ago, when called away to be alone with the Lord, He gave a specific command to the Bride, You Must Take Dominion!

This was the original command God had given Adam when He told him to take dominion over all the earth (Gen 1:26). In Psalms 8:3-6, it says “What is man that you are mindful of him…You have made him to have dominion over all the works of your hands.” Of course we know Adam gave his dominion over to Satan when he chose to believe him instead of God.

To get dominion back into the hands of mankind – only a flesh and blood man could qualify. Jesus (the Word) became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:12). He stripped Himself of His former glory, came as a sinless man, thus qualifying to take back the dominion Adam had given away.

Jesus gave all power, dominion, and authority to His church, His Body on the earth (Luke 10:19; Ephesians 1-6). The Body of Jesus, cleansed by His Blood, has a legal right to operate in the same dominion as Jesus did.

The Dispute

The devil never acknowledged Jesus to be a man, because He knew He had come from God. Fully aware of what’s written about their ultimate fate, the demons were always concerned He’d come to “punish” them before the appointed time (Matt 8:29). Even as evil spirits obeyed the commands of Jesus, they did so in a state of confusion and protest. For the enemy to acknowledge Jesus was a one-hundred percent flesh and blood man while walking the earth, would mean they had to relinquish dominion to Him – as he was sinless…

On the other side of the dispute, the religious crowd always asked Jesus, “By what authority do you do these things? And who gave you this authority to do these things?”(Mark 11:28 Acts 4:7). They didn’t believe God was Jesus’ Father, and that He had come from God. And if Jesus did not come from God, then He would have been born under sin as all have been since Adam.

Either way, the legal right of Jesus to take dominion and authority from the “god” of this world, and give it to the Church, was, and will continue to be, challenged – until the dispute is settled once and for all – until the showdown.

The Showdown

After the first century church, I’m sure it appeared to Satan he’d won. For the “church” as a whole, by rejecting and refusing to walk in the power and authority given her by Jesus, has effectively handed her dominion over to Satan, just as Adam did so long ago. She not only refuses to stand against the kingdom of darkness, but now embraces the very sin which sent Jesus to the cross. Satan (not Jesus) is the head over this apostate church, and the devil now has a “body” to work through!

But thanks be to God, He has always had a remnant. There is a group of faithful men and women rising up who are beginning to awaken to their true identity in Christ Jesus. God is calling them out of this “church”, separating them unto Himself.

These are the “hidden ones.” They are even now being cleansed and purified, to be made ready for their Bridegroom. The Father Himself is selecting each one. The selection of the Bride has begun. (see ‘The Selection Is About To Begin!’)

The Lord wants to make very clear, not all selected to go through the purification process will be a part of the Bride. Remember the ten virgins? All ten were virgins, but only five were chosen. The door was shut on the remaining five, as Jesus told them, “I never knew you.”

As the Lord revealed in the aforementioned dream, Satan has now focused his attention on the Bride of Christ. Jesus has given Her all authority, power, and dominion – and Satan wants it back!

I mentioned earlier that one year ago, on May 20th, 2017, the Lord said, “You Must Take Dominion!” Exactly a year later, May 20th, 2018, as I got out of bed and began walking across the floor, the Holy Spirit shouted,

“WILL SHE TAKE DOMINION?”

By the Holy Spirit, I began going throughout the house shouting out this question over and over, probably upwards of 60 times: “Will She Take Dominion?

The Bride was growing tired, losing her energy and vigor while awaiting her Bridegroom. The devil was trying to allure her, to get her to look at him – to desire him.

Why was she “entertaining” Satan by even allowing him in the room? Obviously the pressure he was exerting against her was having an effect. She was in danger and she knew it! The danger had risen to the point his smug expression revealed “he knew he would soon have her.”

The moment the Bride chooses to take dominion, to stand in all that Jesus came and died to give her, the devil will be kicked to the curb! She will then be used as His instruments of righteousness, to punish all disobedience. For a brief window of time, she will do the works of Jesus, and even greater works will she do. This will result in the greatest harvest for the Kingdom of God in history!

Those who refuse to believe what Jesus came in the flesh to do, who refuse to take dominion and walk in the power and authority of Jesus, will join the spirit of the Antichrist! They will give their dominion to Satan, and he (not Jesus) will become their “head.” The “body” of Satan will come against the Body of the True Heirs of God!

The Showdown is just head, with the dispute soon to be settled once and for all. The counterfeit “bride” will be exposed, removed, and dethroned!

The Lord is shouting out to us,

“Will She Take Dominion?”

To Be Continued

Please take what has been shared here before the Lord in prayer for understanding of how this may apply to you.
