Invasion and Loss of Freedom
I had a nap today and was dreaming. The pieces of the dream that I remember seem to be something I should write down. First, I dreamed that I was talking to someone and saying that the Bible was going to be banned soon, so I have to try to memorize as much as I can or find a way to smuggle Bibles. Then, I dreamed that I was speaking Scripture to a family member, and she was angry with me and kept telling me to stop. She later came back and apologized. Finally, I dreamed that someone came to me and told me that Washington (I thought in my dream Washington State) was banning driver’s licenses and passports so that the only way to get into the state was by some new photo ID that one would have to get. I commented to the person who told me this that Washington was going to be like Czar Russia. Then, I thought in my dream that this was going to have a domino effect on the states heading down the Western coast of the U.S. Then I woke up.
As I was pondering the dream, I felt in my spirit that it means that Russia will first invade Washington State and will then move down into the lower Western states of the U.S. The banning of Bibles is probably connected to this Russian takeover. I also believe that the part in which my family member got angry with me for talking to her about the Scriptures indicates that persecution will come from members of our own family, as Jesus already told us. The apology may represent God’s mercy in changing many hearts that once persecuted His people.
Matthew 24:6-10: “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.”
Luke 21:10-19: “Then he [Jesus] said to them, ‘Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven. But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name’s sake. This will be your opportunity to bear witness. Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer, for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict. You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death. You will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But not a hair of your head will perish. By your endurance you will gain your lives.'”
I do not feel certain that this dream was meant to be prophetic in the specific details of Russia invading Washington; however, the fact that I received an interpretation is a good sign. Tuck these things away in your hearts and keep them before the Lord in prayer.
