Dream: Holy Spirit Grieved for France

This was a short dream from the morning of April 13, 2026:

I was watching a black-and-white scene that looked and felt like a movie but it was so real that it almost seemed like it was happening in my life. The dream played out from the ancient days of the invention of film, when there were a great many takes from city life in European cities. I saw this footage of France and I heard some beautiful cultural music that also had a marching band or government overtone somehow, so it seemed patriotic and was from around 1900 A.D., more or less. There was this current in the music and film that was nostalgic and moderately proud of French national unity and civility.

I saw all this from the vantage point of being so sad that France has fallen and this old patriotic France was now dead. End of the dream.

Sorrow has followed me deep in my heart all day like a knife in my heart.
