Have I not told you to bring all your burdens to me? Why do you allow yourself to become burdened by fear? Fear of things you can do nothing about. Fear of imagined outcomes and the perceived motives of the authorities. Why? Can you not see how futile and counter productive this is? Being informed about the news is one thing; letting the news rob you of peace is another thing all together.

You can come to me with any burden, real or imagined. You are saddened by the news. Me too, a hundred times over – I see it all day long! And yet, I do not despair. Why? Because I have a plan to redeem humanity and that plan is proceeding apace. My gospel is spreading father and faster than at any time before. As the evil one intensifies his attacks with each coming day, his destruction only gets closer. He knows his time is short. That is why it seems that the news is getting worse.

Don’t get distracted by the lies and schemes of the so-called elite. You serve one far more powerful and wiser than all there think tanks combined. Stay focused on your kingdom mission.

Scripture references

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

(Php 4:6-7)

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

(Mat 6:31-34)

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

(Joh 16:33)

Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”

(Rev 12:12)

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying, “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.

(Psa 2:2-4)

And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

(Mat 24:12-14)
