Dmitry and Dmitry: Agents of God’s Judgment

A few days ago just upon my waking, the Holy Spirit spoke the word “Dmitry” in my ear. He did not give me a surname, just a first name. I asked him who this Dmitry was. The only Dmitry I had heard of recently—in news of the Russia-Ukraine conflict—was Dmitry Medvedev. A politician and lawyer, he had served as the former President of Russia (2008-2012) and later as the Prime Minister of Russia (2012-2020). He now serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia. “Is it Dmitry Medvedev that you are referring to?” I asked the Holy Spirit. “Yes,” He replied. “God will use Dmitry Medvedev as an agent of judgment against America.”
Later that same day, when I was watering a friend’s garden, the Holy Spirit suddenly spoke the word “Peskov” in my ear. I asked the Holy Spirit, “Who is Peskov?” “Go look him up,” the Holy Spirit said. He is a Dmitry too.” When I finished watering and had access to my smartphone, I looked up the name Dmitry Peskov just to see if such a person existed.
Well, in seconds my search revealed Dmitry Peskov, who is none other than a Russian diplomat and Vladimir Putin’s Press Secretary. Peskov formerly served as the First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, and is fluent in Turkish and Arabic. I asked the Holy Spirit what His message was concerning Dmitry Peskov. He answered, “God will also use Dmitri Peskov as an agent of judgment against America.”
Scripture:
Isaiah 41:25 “I have aroused one from the north, and he has come; From the rising of the sun he will call on My name; And he will come upon rulers as upon mortar, Even as the potter treads clay.”
Jeremiah 50:9 “For behold, I am going to arouse and bring up against Babylon A horde of great nations from the land of the north, And they will draw up their battle lines against her; From there she will be taken captive. Their arrows will be like an expert warrior Who does not return empty-handed.”
