For century upon century, my people in the west knew of, and fully embraced, the doctrine of divine providence.  Divine providence governed their lives, and provided a framework that made sense of the day to day struggles and challenges that everyone faced.  A perfect understanding of divine providence was the path that allowed peace to flourish in one’s heart, regardless of the calamities that fell upon them.

But in the last few generations, the understanding of divine providence has fallen to the wayside.  Instead of remembering the promise to the peacemakers, war was taught.  Instead of eagerly seeking the peace and contentment of genuine humility, battle was being spoken of.

And what sort of battle?  The battle against satan.  Indeed, every bad thing that one did not like was attributed to satan.  Instead of meekly submitting to my divine will, you were taught to fight satan every step of the way.  Instead of the peace that is found in trusting me, discontentment filled your hearts every time a new evil appeared.

My people, you cannot live this way and expect peace to reign in your heart.  Have you not seen enough evidence already as to the falseness of this belief?  Do you still think you can curse the devil out of your life?  Have you been able to confess your way to a trouble free existence?

Is it not time to put away such childlike nonsense?  Do you not yet see that I create good, but also send the evil?  Evil is sent as judgments upon the land.  You cannot escape divine consequence for your actions.  I will use whom I will use in any way that I see fit.  You cannot fight against me, just because you want to believe that it comes from the devil.

If you want peace in these days, look to rediscover the truth of divine providence.  I am the one in charge, not the devil.  I decide what good and what evil comes your way.  You live in the midst of a fallen world.  Evil rulers are the norm, not the exception.  When will you finally learn to let go of your preoccupation with politics?  When will you stop prioritizing what is occurring in Babylon, and take my yoke instead?

Remember that I said my yoke is easy and my burden is light.  This is only true if you truly trust in my providence in your life.  If you cannot find the peace of Christ in today’s turmoil, how shall you find it when my wrath is fully unleashed?

In this world you will experience tribulation.  But be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world.

My little children, never forget who is in control.  Take no thought as to who is running Babylon.  That is not your kingdom.  Take thought as to who is on the throne of your heart.  Now is the time to let go of the reins of your heart.  Now is the time to trust your soul to the one who will see all things come to a proper end.

I desire for all my children to live in peace.  Peace that passes all understanding.  Only in a full embrace of my divine providence shall that peace be found.  Strive to enter into that rest, and you shall never regret that you did so.
