I have never submitted an article, dream or experience before, because I understand this as not my calling before the Lord. Instead, I offer prayer, comfort and support for any who accepts this. As I said, this is my understanding. However this morning, August 4, 2020, I had a “half-dream” experience that I immediately understood I needed to share. I feel it not only attests to the “late hour” of these times, but also gives some valuable lessons for all.

Anyway, in the dream I was in a kitchen (1960s-70s decor; the era in which I grew up) which I did not recognize, but the house belonged to an unspecified person I knew. The lady of the house was cooking dinner, and I was helping prepare things. I am not positive, but I believe the “lady” was my mother-in-law, which in itself is amazing, because 1) she lives IN GERMANY – I’m in Michigan, 2) it was not her “this-world house” (actually, an apartment), and 3) my wife, of nearly 32 years, and I have been SEPARATED over 9 months.

Quickly I recognize my German father-in-law, and my mother-in-law’s parents (German – they DIED over 20 years ago!), as well as some of my American relatives and friends. I go into the living room and see quite a few people lingering and LYING around, smoking, watching TV, and basically doing NOTHING! I do not smoke, nor do most of the people in my extended group of family and friends, and NONE do so in anyone else’s house without the specific consent of the homeowner. At about this time, I see a man come in and plop down on the couch; although I do not know him, I recognize by his facial features that he must be a brother/cousin of an acquaintance of mine. I go into the kitchen, distressed with all that I saw but did not say anything. I could also feel some tension in the kitchen, but no anger – I simply heard someone there (I do not know who) quietly say, “Please tell them not to smoke in the house”.

By this time there are probably 60-70 people crammed into this small house (I do not know how many were outside), and I will now say who, for me very notably, was MISSING. I did not see my wife, nor our two grown sons, nor did I see MY parents (both still living), nor my brother and sister and their families. Yet, despite this, I was not worried or concerned in my dream,

At this point, the dream basically ended – although dinner was COOKING, it still had not been SERVED.

This dream was significant to me for several reasons:

  1. I knew many of the people, some were relatives, some friends, but also MANY others who I did not recognize.
  2. Even though I KNEW many people in it, I did NOT recognize a single face (the one only LOOKED LIKE an acquaintance)!!!
  3. Some of the most important people in my life were NOT present, yet some who WERE present I would NOT expect! (My in-laws, including two who had died in “this life”).

I won’t share my deeper interpretations of this, but I will share scripture, a few thoughts, and one related “theme” that numerous people here (444 Prophecy News) have shared with us.

  1. “Lack of facial recognition.” Numerous people here have reported seeing a servant (or SERVANTS) with “hidden” or even “blank” faces. Meanwhile, God tells us “Seek MY face”. Consider and pray about the implications of this.
  2. What is the significance of recognizing a kitchen/house that I have never seen in this life? Could this be related to our “eternal life in Christ”; “in My Father’s house are many mansions, I go to prepare one for you.”?
  3. Being present with a widely diverse group of people, both past and present. Again, is this representative of our true, ETERNAL life?
  4. The fact that significant people in my life were NOT present, yet I was not seriously concerned.

Mark 6:1-6 – 1 Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. 2 And when the Sabbath had
come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! 3 Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?”
So they were offended at Him. 4 But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” 5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. 6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

Phillippians 4:6-7 – 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 4:6-10 – 6 If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed. 7 But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. 8 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. 9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance. 10 For to this end we both labor
and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe. 5) The overall theme of a large meal with people straggling in at the last minute. Additionally, I immediately equated the act of “smoking” with “drinking”, but also with “ashes”.

Matthew 22:1-14 – 1 And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, 3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. 4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’ 5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. 6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. 7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ 10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests. 11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Luke 17:27-30 – 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Hosea 6:4-6 – 4 “O Ephraim, what shall I do to you? O Judah, what shall I do to you? For your faithfulness is like a morning cloud, And like the early dew it goes away. 5 Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets, I have slain them by the words of My mouth; And your judgments are like light that goes forth. 6 For I desire mercy and not sacrifice,
And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”

I hope and pray that this will encourage and/or help someone. I know from personal experience that the Lord’s ways are amazing, and I always pray to Him that He help me be a humble, faithful and willing servant.

I pray for all.
