I was out walking and listening to a podcast by Perry Stone talking about people feeling like victims of their past, when the Lord showed me a flash vision. In the vision, I saw a Christian who was looking back towards their past. As he did this, the devil came with a large bucket of heavy mud (much like cement mud) and poured it all around the Christian’s feet to keep him stuck. Satan was laughing as he did this. He knew if he kept the Christian focused on his past, he would be no threat to him at all in the present.
My people are unaware of his (My enemy’s) devices. My people do not understand his methods of delay. My people do not fight My enemy for their freedom as they should.
My people, do not sit idly as My enemy steals from you. He frequently assigns delay to your lives to stop you from enjoying the blessings I am sending and also to delay My timing. You must cancel these assignments – I have given you My authority to use to bring about My Will.
Fight for what is yours, that your joy may be full!
Daniel 10:11-13
11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
