O Savior King, do take our lives and let it be,
For them to be consecrated, O Messiah, all to Thee;
And do take our moments and all of our days,
And let them flow in endless praise.
As the only life that will endure,
Is one that’s kind and good and pure;
So do take our hearts, now they shall be Your Own,
As these will be Your Royal Throne.

For the Bride a solemn change is awaiting all,
For the Bridegroom we must ever be ready for the midnight call;
As we must not let sin all our loyal efforts foil,
So we must absolutely daily fill our lamps with oil.
We cannot be like the foolish virgins and not there to open the door,
When the Bridegroom comes a knocking and be sorry for evermore;
We must press the more closer to Their Presence, never let our lamps go out,
Be diligent, steadfast, on guard while awaiting with earnest for the mighty shout.
For our present situation is by our choices, by our own free will,
More time in the secret place, the Ruach Ha-Kodesh our lamps will fill;
For it’s all up to you, will you be awake for the Bridegroom to meet?
For He shall appear without warning, the faithful ones to greet.
