Congress Republicans, Jim Jordan Stand Condemned

Context:
It’s November 21st 2023, 30 minutes after midnight. I found myself waking to the same sorrow that put me in bed in the first place and it’s so bad that I couldn’t pray or think anymore.

I went to bed hoping I could just sleep through the night, just to forget about it, to collapse and get away from it. I succeeded but when I awoke I found the same sorrow burning, cutting through my heart. I cried to God and complained, why do you burden me with something that has no label? I cursed the sorrow and said, be gone from me, since I don’t even know what this is about.

But as it stayed in my heart, crushing me down and causing me even to stare off with open gaping jaw as if in shock like watching someone commit a terrible crime, I realized it wouldn’t leave and so it was from the Lord. So I prayed for the answer in full faith of receiving His will. That is when I suddenly recalled the dream that I just had, midnight, and this dream tells me why I carry such a pain.

It is a sorrow that’s too much to handle, a sorrow that’s has made me angry because I can’t get rid of it no matter what I do.

And the dream:

I was at Congress standing on the floor facing a large body of legislature and it was like they were seated together over desks to vote. In the *back* of the room I saw Jim Jordan seated against the wall, as the “speaker” or chairman of some kind. I was looking at a lot of Republicans in particular and Jim Jordan appeared as if conducting (but he was at the back wall instead of the front wall, yet a place of elevation). There was one other member who stood out to me but I did not see his face or get his name; so he was simply an unidentified senator or someone like a senator to my left, and he was standing in front of the Republicans.

Their republican work was vital for the dream: I could see they were deliberately stagnating the issue, yet further that it was a big game; it was agreed upon by them to play the American people, in other words. It was a staged vote to tie things up. They were not trying to solve problems. They had agreed as one body, maybe not down to every last member, but they had all agreed that whatever was proposed, they would sabotage through attrition by voting as to stall everything. I perceived this through unidentified means in the dream like it was just knowledge given to me.

I did not feel that there was a genuine soul in the room trying to serve the American people.

The next part of the dream: I started shouting angrily. I was standing towards the very front of the floor and I accused them (republicans) of being traitors and all kinds of things. I don’t remember the words I used but I walked forward and pointed right at Jim Jordan: “You’re betraying the country!” and I also pointed at the anonymous but somewhat important person to my left, whatever he was, in front of the rest of the Republicans and I shouted something similar. So while the group was involved, it was two that I accused as individuals. Absolutely furious, I explosively shouted at the Republicans condemning them for being traitors.

Then of course the whole room being disturbed by me everything changed and it was like in real life where there would be an immediate shift for security. But instead, it was a general who took me to aside, it was not the police (I didn’t even see the police in the dream).
The general was young and yet he had four stars and then beneath his four stars he had a large star which is strange of course. (This rank does not exist). I just referred to him as General and I would say that he was surprisingly young for a general. He took me aside and began not as a police officer trying to incriminate me for disturbing a meeting nor even as someone under pressure to look like he was going to punish me; instead he began just conversing with me about why I was saying what I was saying; he was very calm and civil about it and very interested. Then I even suggested to him that, because the room was going into more chaos for my shouting at them, and being so belligerent on the floor, that I said to the general: “You should probably at least make it look like you’re arresting me” and he seemed to agree because he then put some extremely loose fitting handcuffs on my wrists and we stepped even further away from the senate floor (to my left side as we faced the back of the room). So the general then disappeared off to somewhere else and I was left waiting with loose fitting chains just as if thinking, “Now what do we do?”

End of Dream.

Interpretation:

The US needs a checks-and-balances police action from innovative leaders who can operate with special authority, under favor and grace from God, to reestablish justice against a corrupted republic.

Reflection:

It rather goes without saying that this dream accords with the accompaniment of the major and minor prophets in many ways, their message being that the people who serve “under God” are not immune to His judgment and wrath. In addition to these the prophets I believe we also find a parallel in Hebrews 12, as an applicable call to action and repentance for our nation (and who knows how God may turn away His judgments for instead giving us a blessing?):

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 for whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. 12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; 13 and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. 14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: 15 looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; 16 lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. 18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, 19 and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: 20 (for they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: 21 and so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:) 22 but ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 for our God is a consuming fire.”
