Closer To Famine

On 4.20.20 I had a dream. In this dream I was at home walking towards my bedroom. When I got there I saw one of my bedroom walls was missing and there was a curtain in its’ place. I was confused, so I wandered into the living room where I saw strangers in my house. Intuituvely I knew it wasn’t a party as I and other family members were watching from one side of the room as these people were lining up for something. As I looked closer – my sister, who is often in my dreams, was putting big piles of food onto their plates. Then the dream ended.
I believe this dream is about the coming famine and the different ways we will be called to minister to those around us. My bedroom represents a safe haven and the curtain and the lack of the one wall represents the lack of privacy that will come into our lives when we open our hearts and possibly our homes to others. My sister represents the family or the body of Christ coming together to help if need be. The strangers of course are our neighbors perhaps or people the Lord will lead to us. As in anything, we must use wisdom and prudence and heed the voice of the Holy Spirit during these coming times.
As I am writing this in my spirit I hear the Holy Spirit say ‘ tell them I will provide’ and earlier ‘call upon me’. I believe if we continue to call upon the Lord as we prepare our hearts spiritually and then physically for the famine, the Lord will also provide for us as well.
I was also led to these scriptures.
Acts 11:28. 28 Then one of them, named Agabus, stood up and showed by the Spirit that there was going to be a great famine throughout all the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius Caesar.
Luke 4:25. 25 But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land.
Genesis 41:28-32. 28 This is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do. 29 Indeed seven years of great plenty will come throughout all the land of Egypt; 30 but after them seven years of famine will arise, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine will deplete the land. 31 So the plenty will not be known in the land because of the famine following, for it will be very severe. 32 And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
Leviticus 26:26. 26 When I have cut off your supply of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall bring back your bread by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied.
Ezekiel 5:11-12. 11 ‘Therefore, as I live,’ says the LORD GOD, ‘surely because you have defiled My Sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you; My eye will not spare, nor will I have any pity. 12 ‘One-third of you shall die of the pestilence, and be consumed with famine in your midst; and one-third shall fall by the sword all around you, and I will scatter another third to all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.’
