Handmaid of the Most High
John 10:27-28 KJV My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: [28] And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
A few days ago, while in conversation with a brother in the Lord, he relayed a prophecy that was shared with him that has not been posted here. As I heard this word I got a very strong witness in my spirit and additional information.
The word was that there will be more church massacres/shootings here in the U.S.
I had a flash vision of a church I didn’t recognize with a number of dead bodies strewn among the pews, the aftermath of an attack.
I heard the Holy Spirit say, “This did not have to be. I warned the congregants before-hand not to go to church that morning but they didn’t listen.” I further understood that those who truly hear His still strong voice, heeded His warning and lived because they were obedient not to go to church the day of atrocity.
A scripture, “Obedience is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22) really resounds here. God knows our true heart, whether we desire to serve Him, showing up for church 52 Sundays a year is not the necessary proof of our Christianity. What marks us as servants of Christ is how we treat Him and others on a daily basis, moment by moment.
His sheep hear His voice and do as He directs even when it doesn’t make sense to our way of thinking.
Listen. Lean not on your own understanding but be ready to act even if it doesn’t seem to make sense. Proverbs 3:5-6
God holds you in the palm of His hand. He loves you. Don’t remove yourself from it.
