My children sometimes balk at the changes I require.
Children, do you not know that everything on earth is for a season? Eternity is in the hereafter, not on the earth. On the earth things grow, pass away and are replaced by something new.
Fighting change only tires you. Change is continual in the world you live in.
Only I never change.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 – 1 To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Deuteronomy 31:6 – 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
2 Peter 3:9 – 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Hebrews 13:8 – 8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Matthew 28:20 – Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
