Dear brothers and sisters,

The Lord has instructed me to share a word of encouragement with His church.

A few days ago, the Lord gave me a vision. In my vision I saw a bunch of bright lights. These lights were so bright I kept blinking to see if there was a way to focus in on what I was seeing and count how many there were. They were placed in a certain pattern; some were bigger, some smaller but they all shone the same sort of light. The light itself was blinding. This vision came to me at night. As I pondered on what these lights were and what the vision meant the Holy Spirit revealed to me that those bright lights were stars and the reason why I couldn’t count them was because they represent a countless number of people who have drawn closer to the Lord since the beginning of covid and have found a new place of intimacy with the Lord. Then He brought me to Revelation chapters 2 and 3, where it talks about the 7 churches, and particularly to the churches of Ephesus and Sardis.

The church of Ephesus, Rev.2:1-7, you might recognize, is the one that had forsaken its first love for the Lord. And so, God had called it to remember the height from which it had fallen, to repent and to start doing the things it was doing before the fall. This message was all too familiar to me, as in the past words the Lord had given me to share with His church, this message had been the common thread. I encourage you to go back and re-read past posts, if you haven’t had a chance to do so already.

The church of Sardis, in Rev.3:1-6, is the one which had a reputation of being alive and is instead dead. This one was instructed to remember what it had seen and heard, to obey it and repent.
As I further asked the Holy Spirit for the connection between the vision and these churches, He told me that His current church is the one that has heeded to His word about returning to His first love, and the one that was dead but is now awake in Christ and is allowing His Holy Spirit to guide it.

This was confirmed yet again with another passage found in Jer. 24:6 which talks about the good figs. “My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back to this land. I will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them. I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their hearts.“

The Lord is going to allow major shaking to our nation in the near future. But He wants His to know that these bright stars, in Jesus’ hand, like the stars in Rev. 1:20, are going to be taken care of by the Master.

During the past few days, the Lord also kept highlighting to me the word, ‘Refuge’ and brought me back to singing an old song, “You are my hiding place, You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance. Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You”.

He also gave me these verses to share:

Psalm 9:9 The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.

Psalm 36:7 How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings.

Psalm 57:1 Have mercy on me, O Lord, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.

The Holy Spirit led me to another song I had heard in a Christian movie a while back. I didn’t even know what the title was but when I managed to find it on Youtube the words, “NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL REMAIN” struck me. The song is entitled, Desert Song, if you would like to have a listen.

Then yesterday morning, when I first got up the Holy Spirit stirred me to pray and read straight out of bed, which is not something I usually like to do. But as I opened my Bible He gave me Isaiah 54, what an amazing chapter!!

Verse 10, “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed.”

Verse 14-17, “In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you. If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you. See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc; NO WEAPON FORGED AGAINST YOU WILL PREVAIL, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.

John 10:27-30 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.

Dear friends, hard times are heading our way, times of great distress, but the Lord wants you to know that He is going to take care of His. Continue to stay close to Him, to heed to the voice of the Holy Spirit and to keep searching Him. Continue to remain focused on Christ, with your feet set on the Rock Eternal, and to trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and He will direct our paths. Also, please stock up on extra non-perishable food items for your family, if you haven’t done so already.

God bless you all and reach out if you are in need.
