Dream the 29th Jan 2025
My consistent prayer all these years has been
‘Father, if we in the West are to suffer persecution and death like other countries, prepare our hearts and souls for it, so that we may not deny you. We are a generation not accustomed to violence and war. ‘
I believe that the Lord is preparing us all in his own way, and I believe that this dream that I had Wednesday Night 29 Jan is a warning of preparation to his church in the West. Without further ado, here is the dream:
I was in a large crowd of people, I felt that the group was calm, peaceful, quiet we seemed to be waiting for something. Suddenly, without any warning, an angel came and started dividing the group into two. The first, and larger group were sent to a place where they would experience intense persecution and death for their faith. The second group of Christians were led through a narrow hallway where they were freed. I asked myself the following questions: Why has this group been freed and the other not? Who is going to persecute and kill them, and how will it happen? Suddenly, a very calm but firm voice answered the question. ‘These are not questions you need dwell on. Do not worry about what will happen to these people, and do not be afraid! Know that no matter if you are freed or must suffer persecution and death, I am still sovereign, I am always in control, and I love you dearly.
I felt myself awaken but the voice was still speaking: ‘Tell them, get your hearts right with God, those who need to forgive, do it, those who need to repent of sin, do it now, do not wait! When the persecution happens, it will be swift and you will have no more time.
The first bible verses that came to my mind after the dream were the following:
Matthew 6:15
15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Matthew 4:17
From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
John 15:20
Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you;
Psalm 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
My dear brothers and sisters, I was not given much detail in this dream about a persecution to come, but apparently that wasn’t the essential message. This is a clear message from God to get things right with him and with others.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Do not be found with unforgiveness or unrepentant sin before you leave this earth, and only God knows when that will be! And remember, no matter what you will suffer in the future for Christ’s sake, he loves you with an everlasting love!
