Are you willing to let God make you willing to do His will

Have an performance appraisal lately. I worked in the IT field and received feedback: Good analytical skills, competent, but too low-key, not showcasing performance, not utilising capability to the full. I was asked of my view for an opportunity to take a higher position which requires me to be more flashy and outspoken and serving people I am not so willing to.

For a year my heart is grieved at the coming storms and divine judgement. I saw many souls lost in hell in anguish. I am far more concerned with the salvation of souls than a higher-pay position, and have decided not to follow the path of world success.

I somehow felt grieved and prayed. Suddenly the Holy Spirit said to me: My son, Jesus lays down his life for us to have eternal life. It’s a free gift of God given to us. I am enlightened to ask two questions when viewing the career life. Are you willing to offer your life as a gift to serve those people and mission, no matter how they respond, just as Jesus does? It is your unconditional love to offer yourself as a gift to those who need that matters most. Even if your answer is unwillingly or you are hesitating, ask the second question: are you willing to let God make you willing if it is His will, for He is an almighty God? If any answer is yes, go ahead and fulfil your mission on earth.

Pray if it’s God’s will. If it is, are you willing? Are you willing to be willing?

John 21:18 “Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”

Matthew 26:39 “My father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
