Been hearing this in Spirit since yesterday, why I don’t know! ‘After the usa, canada is next!’
Something to do with the judgement of the nations??? That G_d will visit ‘all the nations’ in judgement. Somehow uk, and europe are presently under judgement now too but I don’t know how? All I know is that there is chaos globally in many places right now. I keep getting how G_d used Assyria to bring judgement to ancient Israel. Somehow G_d uses an enemy nation to bring judgement, then afterwards G_d deals with the enemy nation itself. Ok, ask for discernment on this from G_d.

In Second Kings 17, the curtain is falling on the nation Israel. God’s patience has run out, and so He permitted the brutal Assyrian armies to capture Samaria, the capital of the northern kingdom of Israel. The Assyrian armies took thousands of Israeli citizens into captivity.
Hoshea was the king for nine years. During his reign, he tried to form an alliance with the king of Egypt (in the south), in order to counteract the advances of the Assyrians, but it was too late. Assyria was God’s instrument of judgment against His people Israel. The repentance of a nation, like that of an individual, may indeed be “too late.” God is longsuffering, but after national sins have reached a certain level, and the admonitions and warnings of God’s prophets have been repeatedly rejected — judgment begins to fall.
There are three major parts to the lesson from 2 Kings 17:
The Fact of Israel’s Captivity (verses 1-6)
The Reasons for Israel’s Downfall (verses 7-12)
The Warnings from Israel’s Prophets (verses 13-18)

5 Doom to Assyria, rod of my anger,
in whose hand is the staff of my fury!
6 Against a godless nation I send him;

I direct him to seize spoil, to steal plunder,

and by my wisdom, since I’m so clever.
I disregarded national boundaries; I raided their treasures;
I knocked down their rulers like a bull.
14 My hand found the wealth of the peoples
as if it were in a nest.
Just as one gathers abandoned eggs,
I have gathered the entire earth;
no creature fluttered a wing or opened a mouth to chirp.”
15 Will the ax glorify itself over the one who chops with it?
Or will the saw magnify itself over its user?
As if a rod could wave the one who lifts it!
As if a staff could lift up the one not made of wood!
16 Therefore, the Lord God of heavenly forces
will make the well-fed people waste away;
and among his officials,
a blaze will burn like scorching fire.
17 The light of Israel will become a fire,
its holy one a flame,
which will burn and devour
its thorns and thistles
in a single day.
18 Its abundant forest and farmland
will be finished completely,
as when a sick person wastes away;
19 its forest’s remaining trees will be no more than a child can count.

The Cup of God’s Wrath
15 This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, said to me: “Take from my hand this cup filled with the wine of my wrath and make all the nations to whom I send you drink it. 16 When they drink it, they will stagger and go mad because of the sword I will send among them.” 17 So I took the cup from the LORD’s hand and made all the nations to whom he sent me drink it: 18 Jerusalem and the towns of Judah, its kings and officials, to make them a ruin and an object of horror and scorn, a curse —as they are today; 19 Pharaoh king of Egypt, his attendants, his officials and all his people, 20 and all the foreign people there; all the kings of Uz; all the kings of the Philistines (those of Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the people left at Ashdod); 21 Edom, Moab and Ammon; 22 all the kings of Tyre and Sidon; the kings of the coastlands across the sea; 23 Dedan, Tema, Buz and all who are in distant places ; 24 all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the foreign people who live in the wilderness; 25 all the kings of Zimri, Elam and Media; 26 and all the kings of the north, near and far, one after the other—all the kingdoms on the face of the earth. He will shout like those who tread the grapes, shout against all who live on the earth. 31 The tumult will resound to the ends of the earth, for the LORD will bring charges against the nations; he will bring judgment on all mankind and put the wicked to the sword,’ ” declares the LORD. 32 This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Look! Disaster is spreading from nation to nation; a mighty storm is rising from the ends of the earth.” 33 At that time those slain by the LORD will be everywhere—from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be mourned or gathered up or buried, but will be like dung lying on the ground. 34 Weep and wail, you shepherds; roll in the dust, you leaders of the flock. For your time to be slaughtered has come; you will fall like the best of the rams. 35 The shepherds will have nowhere to flee, the leaders of the flock no place to escape. 36 Hear the cry of the shepherds, the wailing of the leaders of the flock, for the LORD is destroying their pasture. 37 The peaceful meadows will be laid waste because of the fierce anger of the LORD. 38 Like a lion he will leave his lair, and their land will become desolate because of the sword of the oppressor and because of the LORD’s fierce anger.
