A Setup

I had this dream last night (2021-09-15). In the dream I was with a small group of bomber aircrafts. A humongous ship on the sea was shooting missiles at us and we fired back. Their missiles could home in on us and turn as we turned. Some of us decided to do a suicide mission and slammed into the ship at the same spot. The ship’s missiles followed them and bombed the ship itself. I was observing from the air and thought the ship would sink, but it started to fly instead!
What we didn’t know was that the ship was chained to the sea floor. The whole battle was a setup so that we would help free it from the chain. The suicide bombers thought they were clever and noble, but the enemy had expected it and used it for their own purpose.
We didn’t know the ship could fly, we didn’t know it was chained down and unable to free itself, we were ignorant of the true situation and the enemy’s plans and goals. We acted in ignorance and had relied on our own cleverness with disastrous results.
This dream can be interpreted in more than one way, suffice to say that things may not be what they seem, and we need to be led by the Spirit and not by the flesh.
