Eleven years ago, the Lord Jesus told me to ‘watch Damascus.’ Over these years events in Syria have grown more and more intense until we see today that it could very easily escalate into a confrontation involving Russia, Iran, Turkey, China, the USA, Israel and others.
We know from Isaiah 17 and Jeremiah 49, Damascus will be destroyed at some point. Much of Damascus is currently a ruinous heap and other parts of Syria are destroyed just as Jeremiah describes.
Also, Ezekiel 38-39 indicate Russia, Iran, Turkey and other nations will invade Israel. It is very conceivable that events currently happening in Syria are part of the set up for this invasion.
The Lord has made it very plain that war is coming, and destruction is coming. Natural disasters will hit the USA, economic collapse will hit the USA and the world and war will come to the USA and to other nations.
It is easy for us to nod our head to these things and yet remain emotionally and mentally in disbelief. The Lord mercifully and faithfully continues His warnings.
Here is what I hear the Lord saying:
Behold, disaster is going forth
from nation to nation,
and a great tempest is stirring
from the farthest parts of the earth! (Jeremiah 25:32)
I have said what is coming, great calamity yet few believe. Some believe and think they can avoid discomfort by storing up things of this world. I tell you, I will provide in ways you cannot see for those who trust in Me. Prepare the things I say to prepare and do not prepare anything else. If I say have one, do not have two.
Many think they believe in Me, but they are believing in their imagination. Many come in My name and say I am this or that, but they do not listen to who I am as I have revealed Myself in My Scripture, and they do not know Me.
Many are trusting in pomp and shows and calling it My church, but I tell you, I have no part in what you are doing and will spit you out of My mouth. I see perversion, lust, greed, deception and abominations are named among you! You think it can be hidden but I see, and I will reveal. Already I have revealed much, and more is to come. Many are shaken because they trusted in man instead of Me. Repent! Trust in Me. I alone will save you and love you with an everlasting love. I alone will purify you and make you a people for myself.
My eyes are like fire and from My mouth comes a sharp sword. I come with My mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know Me and who do not obey My Gospel, and to be marveled at by all who believe in Me.
Idolatry, Idolatry, whoredom and greed abound among those who say they are mine, but I say you do not know Me. Repent! You do not know My love for you. Awake oh sleepy ones. Who has lulled you to sleep? I tell you to be watchful lest you fall into temptation for great trial is coming and is now at the door.
You have had much and soon you will have little. Your mind cannot imagine what is coming. I tell you, trust in Me. Remember My great love for you. I will comfort your heart and establish your heart for every good work and word. Do not be moved by the things that terrify the nations for those who belong to Me need not fear.
America, you are proud and arrogant, greedy and perverse and full of deception, delusion, and lies like your leader. Repent!
Oh, those who say they want to make America great again, I tell you I alone am great. Repent and come enjoy My tender mercies.
Destruction upon destruction. But I tell you, I am coming soon. Do not fear.
That is the end of the word I received.
Dear brothers and sisters, let us humble ourselves before Jesus and repent of our sins. Let us check our heart to the Scripture and rid ourselves of all false ideas and cling to Jesus—the real Jesus, not the fake Jesus promoted by so much of what is called the church.
So many of our brothers and sisters around the world are suffering much for believing in Jesus. They are beaten, put in prison, lose their homes and some are killed. They rejoice that they are counted worthy to suffer for His name’s sake.
For many of us, suffering for Jesus is such a foreign thing. We consider light discomfort a great suffering. So, I ask, are we among those whom Jesus referred to when He asked, ‘will the Son of Man find faith on the earth when He returns?’
It is a sobering thought and we would be wise to humble ourselves and ask the Holy Spirit to scour our hearts and show us what would please the Lord.
In the book of Revelation, Jesus gives very serious warnings to His church. His call to repentance is very sobering. He isn’t messing around yet much of what is called the church is playing around as though Jesus either isn’t watching or doesn’t care. My friends, He sees, He cares and He judges. He will remove, punish, discipline, destroy that which is not of Him.
It is high time to sober up and come out of the good-time false church and humbly obey Jesus while it is still today.
Jesus appeared to Joshua and Joshua asked who’s side He was on. Jesus points out that He is on His own side and the question Joshua needed to be concerned with is, who’s side was Joshua on? Then He tells Joshua to remove his shoes because he was standing on holy ground.
Joshua fell at Jesus’ feet. Daniel fell at Jesus’ feet. John fell at Jesus’ feet. Isaiah said he was a man of unclean lips in the presence of Jesus. Ezekiel feel down at Jesus’ feet.
We need to repent of arrogance and our sloppy approach to Jesus. We need to test ourselves to the Scripture and see if we are in the faith.
Very great calamity is coming. Jesus described these things in His Scripture. The time is upon us. The one who endures to the end will be saved. Let us throw off all that hinders us and let us listen to Jesus and obey Him. We must trust Him and remember who He is. The One with eyes like fire and a sword coming out of His mouth. The One who sits on a throne with thunder and lightening coming out and the One who’s face is so bright we cannot even look upon Him unless He allows it. May we fall at His feet and worship Him in spirit and truth today.
Dear friends, do not fear what is coming. Ask the Lord Jesus what He wants you to do, where He wants you to be. Simply obey Him. He loves you with an everlasting, unfading love. He has gone to the cross for you. His precious blood was shed for you. Love Him and trust Him today and in the hour that is coming upon the earth.
