A Dream of Americans Fleeing to Mexico

I saw a dream last night that Americans were fleeing into small Mexican villages in Baja Mexico.

I saw a woman standing alone by a street vendor who had befriended her. There were large groups of Americans trying to get permission to live in that village.

She heard voices of Americans telling her to lie about their names and Jewish beliefs. She looked up and saw a billboard with the name Amanda and several digits. She was repeatedly told to fill out documents using that name.

Instead, she spray-painted over that name and wrote a new name. That name was not revealed in the dream.

She chose the truth. She decided not to follow the crowd. She began filling out the documents so she could receive permission from the local Mexican government to live there.

She found favor with a local street vendor because she was humble, respectful toward an older woman, and polite.

Those who used a false name were thrown out of the office for lying about being Jewish. In the dream, I saw that Jews were hated even in Mexico. They were outcast because of their lying.

The woman who witnessed this was also Jewish. However, she found favor because she was respectful and truthful. She did not lie, nor did she want to lie.

She kept quiet, just as Esther did in the Bible. She did not reveal her Christian denomination. She hid in plain sight and lived quietly, in peace and without fear.

Amanda means “worthy of love” or “lovable.”
