A Dream about American Two-Party Election

(sorry I am not positive about the date on this one but it was only a matter of 2 years ago, more or less)

My dream was simply a small group of people running along a big, ancient stone wall, sort of like you might find in a centuries-old cemetery. We were running away from the evils of the democratic party, like it was a boogey-man chasing us. As we ran along the wall, it seemed that we were doing the right thing. I knew the metaphor in this dream instantly and that the other direction along the wall was to, in effect, run toward the republican party—this was the way we were fleeing. (This was also the right-side of the wall that we were heading toward. It also felt kind of like a labyrinth as there was some structure to our side as well). Right as we came to the other end of the wall, the stone burst out toward us like it was collapsing and a new “boogey-man” had emerged such that we were either cut off or just too threatened, and so we turned around and bolted back in the other direction! Somehow I just knew even while asleep that this dream was all about American politics.

I have no grounds in the natural, from knowledge on Trump or his affiliates, to predict this kind of thing, but I have not forgotten this dream and it leads me to suppose that we are in for a very disheartening Republican let-down very soon.

I don’t like bad news but we must focus on Christ not political salvation. Our citizenship is in heaven and I am praying for peace and mercy for all. God bless.

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry…”
Col 3:1-5
