3 DAYS OF DARKNESS

Dear brothers and sisters,
I have been wanting to address details pertaining to the 3 days of darkness for a while now. This prophecy has come to my attention a few months ago through many of the Lord’s servants but to be honest, I was very reluctant to believing it, at first. I didn’t want to put a warning out to you, dear brothers and sisters, to repeat someone else’s account especially not knowing if these were fruits of people’s imaginations. And so, I begin to inquire of the Lord to give me dreams and Scriptures pertaining to this event, so that I could report first-hand accounts. The Lord in His grace, gave me 2 dreams. Please do take this warning to the Holy Spirit for confirmation.
Exodus 10 gives us a description of the 9th plague that struck Egypt in the way of 3 days of darkness -darkness that could be felt.
In my first dream, I was going shopping. I parked my vehicle and crossed the street. I don’t have a recollection of entering the store or purchasing anything in particular. But, when I came out of the store, the darkness had fallen. It was so thick I couldn’t see anything at all. Somehow, I managed to cross the street but I couldn’t find my car. I could hear people’s voices as, apparently, they were bumping into each other and asking what had happened. In this dream the Lord had me experience what Ex.10 meant when it said ‘a darkness that can be felt’.
There are a number of Scriptures in the Bible that highlight a darkness coming on the land.
Psalm 5:14 Darkness comes upon them in the daytime; at noon they grope as in the night.
Amos 8:9-10 “In that day”, declares the Sovereign Lord, “I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight. I will turn your religious feasts into mourning and all your singing into weeping.”
Isaiah 59:10 Like the blind we grope along the wall, feeling our way like men without eyes. At midday we stumble as if it were twilight; among the strong, we are like the dead.
Please make a note that during the 3 days of darkness, nobody will be able to leave their homes for 2 reasons. Firstly, because you will not be able to see anything. Secondly, because it will be a time of deep demonic activity. I am not sure if we will have any light in our homes as the Israelites did in Goshen (Exodus 10), but it may be wise to have some candles on hand. It will be prudent to also place thick coverings over all your windows (such as garbage bags) as the demons will try to lure people to look outside. They will also try to mimic your friends/family member’s voices to lure people to open the door. Do not be deceived. These are demons looking to possess people. Stay indoors praying, reading the Bible and pleading the blood of Jesus over your homes and loved ones.
In my second dream, I was in my kitchen, my son down in the basement. The home was pitch black. I knew in the dream it was because of these 3 days of darkness. My son was talking to me as he was coming upstairs and I tried to feel my way around the kitchen to move away from the basement door so he wouldn’t spook me once he’d come in the kitchen (in my home, my basement stairs are located directly off my kitchen).
I realized that because I couldn’t see anything that my sense of hearing was heightened. I woke up from this brief dream and it was middle of the night. I made my way to the bathroom, in the dark. But, when I came back to bed I had a hard time falling back asleep as I felt attacked in my spirit as if the darkness in the dream had followed me in real life. I hope this makes sense. I begin to plead the blood of Jesus over me over and over again until I fell asleep.
Jeremiah 13:16 Give glory to the Lord your God before He brings the darkness, before your feet stumble on the darkening hills. You hope for light, but he will turn it to thick darkness and change it to deep gloom.
Isaiah 60:2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you.
Luke 21:25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
Psalm 91:5-6 You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
According to my daughter’s dream as well as several accounts I have read on this regard, before the darkness completely sets in, we will be able to witness an interesting phenomenon as the sky fills up with pretty colours. But don’t let that precious time be wasted from the important preparation that needs to occur before the darkness fully descends (gathering your family into your home, covering your windows, etc).
When I studied the Scriptures regarding a timeline for this darkness, both the story in Exodus 10 and the 3 days Jesus spent in the grave occurred around the time of Passover. Similarly, I believe that this event will take place around the same time frame, just not sure what year. Let’s remain alert and vigilant. Praying in the Spirit at all times and staying in the Word.
