What Will the People Do?

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Read: Revelation 18, Isaiah 24

The Lord has prescribed time for everything. The Lord has told the end from the beginning. The Lord has warned us of all things far ahead of time.

There is time to tell, there is time to warn, there is time to listen, there is time to prepare, there is time to hide, and there is time to run.

Can a man run and hide from the hands of the Lord?

“Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.”
— Jeremiah 23:24 (KJV)

Can a man run from the earth?

The only hiding place is the Lord Himself. As it is written:

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
— Psalm 91:1 (KJV)

The Lord called, called and called, warned and warned again and again through the mouths of His countless true and loyal messengers.

While the people are in deep sleep, danger—unseen and unheard—is coming like a storm. There is no place to hide from the mighty hands of the Lord.

Believe it or not, it is here. It is knocking on every door. In the moment they least expect it, it will happen suddenly.

Warnings after warnings have fallen on deaf ears.

Soon, for sure, it will be too late. As the Lord said, many events cannot be prayed away. The people have misused the precious time given to them with the cares of life and the world.

“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.”
— John 12:25 (KJV)

The Scripture tells us not to be lovers of the world but lovers of God.

What Will the People Do?

When the Atlantic pours over the East Coast, east of the Appalachian Mountains, from Florida to Canada, what will the people do?

When the San Andreas fault line gives way and everything west of the fault line falls into the Pacific, what will the people do?

When the continent of North America splits along the Mississippi forming a massive gap, and the waters of the Great Lakes meet the waters of the Gulf, what will the people do?

When big cities become targets of enemies with nuclear explosions, what will the people do?

When the economy collapses, the dollar loses value, and scarcity reigns, what will the people do?

When famine sets in locally and globally, what will the people do?

When the earth shakes like a ball in the hand of a strong man, when the poles shift, when shorelines flood, when continents split, when islands disappear and buildings collapse, what will the people do?

When civil war ravages cities and everyone is locked within their homes, what will the people do?

When enemies take advantage of the chaos and invasions come from all directions, what will the people do?

When darkness covers the world—three days of darkness—and evil entities are released upon the earth, what will the people do?

Did we not warn of these things years ahead of time?

From what the Lord has revealed, when calamities strike and chaos reigns, people will run for their lives. They will flee from shorelines, from cities, from wars, fires, and earthquakes. Some will run to mountains and caves. Some will run without even knowing what they are running from.

Fear, terror, and desperation will dominate. Everyone for himself.

Whether for a short time or for seven years, the whole world will be under the judgment of Almighty God. The disobedient, the wicked, and the evil will have one last opportunity to choose between life and death, between God and the devil, between heaven and hell.

There is no middle ground.

The Solution

The solution was repentance from the heart and turning away from sinful and wicked ways.

The solution was to declare repentance nationwide like Nineveh.

The solution was to hear the Lord’s warnings given for centuries—even at this very moment.

The solution was to worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the Lord of Hosts—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: One God.

The solution was to bend our knees and ask for mercy before these things happen.

The children of Almighty God—young and old—have cried from the rooftops calling for repentance. Were they heard? Instead they were met with hatred.

Is this new? Twelve of the disciples of Jesus paid with their lives, except John of Revelation. If they hated the Redeemer, our Lord, it should not surprise us if we are hated also.

When faced with hatred, challenges, and tests, we know that what the enemy plans for evil, the Lord will use for good and for His glory.

Now we can say:

Time is up.
Judgment has begun.

Still, there is a little time left for repentance before the earth turns upside down.
