What Should We Expect?

My son, do you not see the darkness? Do you not feel the darkness all around you? You wonder why this must be so. Why your prayers seem to have so little effect. Are there not many, many beginning to pray like never before? Do not many of my people sense the urgency? Why do things go from bad to worse, seemingly without ceasing?

My body is being given a lesson in the times and seasons of the Lord. How else shall the scripture be fulfilled? How else shall what is written come to pass?

There is a certain inevitability to sin and darkness. Once iniquity is set in motion, it cannot be halted. Herein lies the mystery of iniquity. Darkness must run its course. It will have its time. Once its time is complete, it will be banished out of my Father’s sight for all eternity. This will serve as an eternal lesson for all that will come hereafter.

Your generation is the generation that has been chosen to see this final battle unfold before your very eyes. As my prophets have clearly stated, this is not a day of joy and gladness, but of gloom and thick darkness.

Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

Zep 1:15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

A time of sorrow, and a time of testing such as not not been seen since time began.

Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Mar 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

You who excitedly wait for the day of the Lord, why are you excited? Do you truly believe that you are able to drink the cup that I am about to pour upon all the earth? Do you truly understand what is about to come to pass?

Your false teachers and unholy shepherds speak of signs and wonders. They tell you it will be a time of great power, and great harvest. They tell you it will be the greatest day of the church that history has ever seen.

Woe unto the false, blind guides! The day of the Lord will not be a shower of blessings, but a storm of destruction. For too long my fat shepherds have comforted my people with lies and fables. They paint a picture of nothing but triumph and victory. Yet we shall see whose word will prevail, the lying spirits that are in their mouths, or my holy word, which endures forever.

Power and harvest is coming. Terrible powers that will rain fire and brimstone from above. A great harvest of the wicked unto eternal perdition.

Rev 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
Rev 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

The great day of the Lord is great – greatly terrible and most fearsome to behold.

I come to you with a sobering warning. Stop misreading my promises. When I promise you shelter from the storm, know that I promise to preserve your spirit, yet your body may not be so. Did I not tell you these things in my word?

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Luk 12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
Luk 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

1Co 6:13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

So you can see that your body is not your own. You have been bought with a price. A price so great, that no man has ever fully comprehended it.

I say these things to you to remind you to not be so easily shaken when you see that not all shall be preserved in body until the very end. Iniquity, suffering, and redemption, all are great mysteries. As you seek me earnestly, some of these great mysteries will be revealed unto you. You will know and perceive by the Spirit why it is good that some of you will be taken home early.

All those the Father has given me is precious in my sight. Some of you have almost completed your race, and will be joining me soon. Others of you have been chosen and equipped to face and endure what is to come. You will be my witness to a lost and evil generation that God is still on his throne, and the final judgment is sure. Some will have one great moment of testimony before death. Others will be preserved to bear witness right until the end.

I am placing within each and every one of my servants a greater and greater revulsion for the things of Babylon. Cultivate that revulsion, and do not reject the prompting of the Spirit when he calls you to walk that lonely path. Do not look back and long for the comforts of Sodom, and risk the same fate as the wife of Lot. Do not give in to worldly fear, as the daughters of Lot, and take matters into your own hands, trying to control your destiny. Do not allow yourself to be so easily manipulated, as Lot himself, who yielded to his daughter’s seductions, and let himself be compromised by the ways of the worldly (Gen 19:23-38). Be like Joseph, who refused to dishonor his God by defiling himself, but rather faced imprisonment than risk losing his very soul (Gen 39:7-20).

As I encourage you, take the time to encourage one another. To encourage is also to warn, exhort, and even rebuke. Is it not better to be warned and to repent, instead of hearing only smooth things and fall into the ditch?

Isa 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:
Isa 30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Luk 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

Stay humble. Stay teachable. Rebuke one another in a spirit of true humility and godly fear, lest you too fall into the snare of pride.

Above all, be patient with one another. You will need much endurance to weather what is to come. Only those who fix their hearts on the things above will overcome in these final days.
