We have a responsibility to start getting ready for what comes next

The Lord told me in a dream this morning “We have a responsibility to start getting ready for what comes next”, and in the dream He attributed the quote to John Wilkes. I looked it up and John Wilkes did not say that, so then I looked up the meaning of the Wilkes name. Google says it means “Resolute protector”, if that gives you any indication of what comes next.

We need to stop looking at our screens so much and start reading our Bibles, with the psalms being a book God emphasized to me the day before when He told me to read chapters 14-29. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. When you read it, say the words out loud so your ears hear the words.

We all need robustness in our faith if the light of Christ can shine to others in a dark world. We can’t be panicking like 99% of people will be, but we must be resolute and stand on the promises in His Word for us, and making sure our lives are lived as qualifying us for those promises.
