We Are the Mirror Image of Light

We are called to be the light that shines in this dark world until we depart from it—through the “R” or through death. It’s two ways, no debate about it—the stark reality of this life that many don’t want to believe.

When you talk about the “R,” the lost think it is a distant myth, far from their radar. If you tell them, “It is appointed for man once to die, and after death comes judgment,” they think death is a program for others—but not for them. They believe they are safe from its reach. They have never read Genesis 3:19: “For you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

This reminds us that our eventual appointment after this life is to strive to be with the Lord. Our aim as humanity is to accomplish that goal—having passed through this life like a flower.

This reality hit me firsthand when I was at Bible School. It was mandatory for us to go on hospital missions twice a week. Our classes ended daily at 12:30 p.m., and after that we were free to go home—except on those two days. Normally, we would go straight to the hospitals, and permission to pray for the sick was granted with very few restrictions then.

I know, from what I have gathered now, that it is almost impossible to gain access to some medical facilities today. Policies have changed drastically.

Back to my point—we would pray for the sick, and as we passed through the hospital wards, we would see people who had just passed on minutes earlier. What would come to our minds was this: “Were they saved at the time of their departure?”

By virtue of what we were doing, that question never left our minds. We always shared the Gospel first, then concluded with prayer for the sick. By God’s grace, many were discharged on our subsequent visits. Others remained, and we continued encouraging them.

For those who passed on, we understood that it was Yah’s will for them. We did our part, standing with the sick in prayer, and there was no sense of guilt for those few who died. The praise reports were overwhelmingly high each week because we were faithfully doing the work of the ministry.

Nobody complained about being hungry. I remember reaching home sometimes at 3 p.m., eating whatever food I found left, and then diving into reading borrowed books from the well-stocked library. I was busy with Kingdom matters. Remember, there were no cell phones then. I recall my pastor waiting for fax messages from overseas.

This brings us to an important question: How do we spend our free time?

A time is coming when we will have to follow what seems like a crash program regarding our divine assignments. Everyone is called to do something. Ministry is not for the “special ones.” Virtually every Christian alive will be spiritually engaged in the great awakening that is slowly creeping in.

A football, polo, ice hockey, or basketball game is played as a team, not as individuals. In my earlier visions of the coming awakening, I often see a multitude—a large team. You, the reader, will be among the sent ones.

There are over six billion people to be reached. Do you think a thousand highly anointed servants can do the job alone? What makes you think you are unfit for the work, when the Lord has grafted you in? You will march across the six continents through His enabling grace. Much will be done in a short time, according to Yah’s preordained calendar.

The duty to answer the call will revolve around you and you alone. When the day comes that we stand before the Bema Seat of Christ, we shall answer to Him—the righteous Judge.

A Testimony of Encounter

I recently met a man who gave me a moving testimony face-to-face. He told me how he was involved in a road accident, broke his leg, and eventually passed out.

He was a Christian, and he ascended and saw a bright light. Then a very beautiful man appeared and called him by name—“Samuel.” The man began to talk to him about the widows and orphans, expressing concern that they were suffering.

He told him that he would be sent to European countries in the days ahead because there was work to be done. The man replied, “I am a man of very little education.”

Jesus told him, “It’s not about your ability to speak fluent English, but about what I will put inside of you.”

When I asked him what Jesus looked like, he said His appearance was pure white, with golden hair. Just by looking at Him, he knew who He was.

He asked Jesus about his broken legs and whether He would heal him. Jesus said he would be revived back to life, for healing is the children’s bread.

Jesus told him there are all kinds of “spare parts” in the heavenly storehouses, but His people do not claim them. That reminded me of the issue of unclaimed assets in my country, worth billions.

Jesus told him that He has the resources for His work, but people do not ask Him—instead, they rely on man.

The man took the message to certain churches, but his words were dismissed outright. Only one church accepted and appreciated his testimony. I encouraged him to keep spreading the word despite resistance.

He also told me about another man who resurrected in a morgue after three days and is now preaching.

Just three days ago, I read an article about a habitual drunkard who saw a supernatural light hovering over him while lying on the ground in a drunken stupor. He sobered up and started preaching the next day.

What—or who—made him an instant evangelist?

I told the man I often read and watch the testimonies of those who have had near-death experiences online. I never imagined I would meet such a person face-to-face. Are we not truly in the end of days, when Yah will receive all the glory for what He is doing and will yet do?

Holding Fast to the Plough

Let me paraphrase this truth: “Anyone who puts their hand to the plough and looks back is not fit for the Kingdom.” Remember Lot’s wife.

Do not fall into the devil’s trap under any circumstance. If your focus is on exchanging friendly fire inside the house of faith and judging fellow believers, that is a trap.

Our spiritual arsenal should be used outside the church, for that is where the work lies before Yeshua returns. The ripe plants are in the field, and they must be harvested before being stored in the barns.

Many callings are about to be “outside,” and there will be a great concentration there. We have been nurtured inside the walls of the church for so long that many have forgotten there is more beyond.

The God-given hunger for seeking Yah through the Word and prayer will guard us against the deception of the last days. A true seeker of Yah should never fear the rough times ahead but should trust that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Jesus was able to sleep through the midnight storm while His disciples cried, “Save us, Lord! We are perishing!” His reply was, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” (Matthew 8:25–26). You know how that story ended.

Personal Reflections and Lessons

I share personal testimonies not to boast, but to give Yah all the glory due to Him. I am absolutely nothing—nothing without Him.

Sometimes, when testimonies are shared, they are magnified or misunderstood because of the current state of the church. No wonder Yah told me that testimonies have taken a back seat. That is why you have read many of my experiences written on this site.

When we returned from a Middle East mission trip years ago, I was called to share a testimony during Sunday service. I gave a summary, and the entire church clapped. I didn’t hear anyone accuse us of bragging. The pastor and his wife were part of that trip—they could verify everything.

When the devil does something, it goes online and goes viral. Many applaud it. But when something good happens in the house of God, people think it’s not important and should stay hidden. Really?

I remember when we were newly saved, the church would include us in their mission budget.

The man I spoke with told me something profound: “When God tries to lift someone for His purposes in the house, they are suppressed. It becomes like a competition. Others feel threatened by the shift.”

When the enemy promotes his own through secret orders, it’s seen as “efficiency” or “progress.” This man told me there is a plan to remedy this—but he withheld the details.

Light and Darkness

Recently, I was with my uncle to pick something up around 2 p.m. While waiting, people began bringing out bottles of alcohol and offered us some for free. I said, “I don’t drink; I am saved.” My uncle moved away to take a call.

One of the men there was surprised that neither of us drank. He said, “You only drink sodas or milk? That’s strange!”

A drunkard believes everyone drinks. He’s willing to buy you alcohol, but if you tell him you’re hungry and need food, he won’t buy you a meal even if he has money. Yet he’ll spend it freely on liquor. Is that normal?

There were children around, and we felt sorry for them, knowing the kind of environment they would grow up in. We collected our things and left.

Light and darkness cannot mix. The light must continue to outshine the darkness until we depart this dark world. More darkness upon darkness is coming. Shall we stand our ground?

Visions and Scripture

On 30/10/25 (early morning):
I saw myself in a strange house, singing what seemed like a heavenly song. Another person—whom I could not see—was singing the same song outside. Our voices blended perfectly, like an orchestra or a choir.

On 31/10/25 (before waking):
I saw a tent set up in the CBD of Nairobi. It was full of people, and it seemed as though they needed help of some sort.
