Watered down word

Greetings.

I have been following this site for many years. I have submitted one dream and message. This is not a word from God, but about God’s word.

Let me start with a hypothetical idea. You are thirsty, and I’m offering you a gallon of water. But I tell you there are 2 drops of poison in it. After all, 2 drops in a gallon is next to nothing. Right? Who’s up for a drink.

So back in the garden, the snake said, “hath God said.” This was to get the woman to not follow God’s words. Did he tell her to eat the fruit? No. He just changed the thought in her head to not think God knew what was best for them.

So im really not liking most churches. Stay with me. They are building their kingdom and not God’s. They say whatever it takes to fill seats. They want you to feel good about yourselves. I know must here can see this. But you and I too, go to hear God’s word and apply it to our lives.

If you go to a church because you like the music or the kids like the program or whatever, are you being feed the meat of the word.

I’m asking you to stop and pray right now before you go on. This is getting to the reason I’m writing this post. What I’m going to say is so important that many Christians are going to miss the mark. Trust me, but use God’s word to verify. I’m not going to tell you anything not found in the bible.

So my first point is that we are supposed to be righteous in our walk. Perfect is not possible, or Jesus would not have needed to come.

Jesus was sinless, right? So is lying a sin? YES! We have all lied. Santa, tooth fairy. A bunny… when grandma asks if that’s good when you eat something and you say yes to not hurt feelings.

In john 7:8, red letters here, Jesus was asked about a feast. Right now, open your Bible or app and read it. I’ll wait. Did Jesus say, “Go up, i am not going?” This is the reason I have grown kids(5), that don’t tell the truth. Because 2 verses later he goes. Did Jesus lie? Was he tricking his disciples? Joking?

Now this is the part that makes people say it doesn’t matter which translation you use. And I believe that you can lead anyone to Jesus with any bible. But can they get all they need to be converted, “born again.” If your lying as a way to get what you want or get away with something, that’s bearing false witness.

My bible says go ye up unto the feast: I go not yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come. Red letters here. So Jesus says “I go not yet.” That word yet is saying, I’m not going at this time but I will go. So why is that important? This 2 drops of poison is why you think if Jesus lied, then it’s OK to lie. That’s sin. In Rev 21:8 says “and all liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire”

So i have kids that through subliminal text reading from a modern bible believe that if Jesus lied, it’s OK to lie. It’s not hurting anyone. Really? Then go to a church that says that God doesn’t care if you sin. He knows you a sinner. If you just say a prayer you’ll be OK.

God is the same yesterday, today,and forever. He changes not.

Ok then, to a new subject. Who here believes in the trinity. I do. You have a body, a soul and a spirit. Even someone knocking on my door said they have those. But deny the trinity. In fact the bible they use says Jesus was “a god ” in the book of John it says the word “word” to reference Jesus. And it says “the Word was God.”

Time for you to use that bible again. Look up in your preferred version 1 John 5:7. Again I’ll wait. Did it say these 3 bear record, or something close to that? The in the next verse it says the spirit, the water and the blood. My bible says in vs7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Again we see that the reference to Jesus is the Word. Is your Bible the word? Or is it the Word? The Word of God! So Paul warns of another Jesus. Another word.

My point to this is not to convert you to a bible. But to a acceptable way of the Lord. If you think that you have checked all the boxes and God is well pleased with you. I’d start right now reading it for yourself and stop following a hireling.

If your leaving church felling good about yourselves and your walk with God, you might not be on the right road. Narrow is the way! So attendance is not a ticket.

Repentance is the start. You have read post here on this site where they say repent. But you don’t think that’s you. It’s all of us. Repent means in my google search” feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one’s wrongdoing or sin”

So a search engine knows the meaning but we don’t. Study to show yourself approved. I could go on about many things and the false terms of modern bibles. FYI. All modern bibles are created with the “oldest” manuscripts. They were called the majority text. From Alexandria, as in Egypt. I’m sure that’s not a Christian location in any bible text. When the dead sea scroll were found, that changes everything.

If I gave you a pile of fake hundred dollar bills. Would they get warn out from beind passed from user to user. Or would they stay hidden away not use because no one wanted them for value. This is why they have some good old text that are preserved to this day.

If you made it this far, then you probably want the truth. Jesus is the truth. I’ve quoted scripture and not referenced it. If you know which were stated, then you probably read your Bible. If you are trusting a man, a hireling to tell how to get “right” with God, your on the wide road. Satan has done a good job of making the true word sound not trust worthy, old, out of date, in fact when they upgrade your Bible again, this time it perfect. That until they revise it again. And again.

TIME IS SHORT! When you die, it’s too late.if you can’t see where we are and think thing will get better… you have not read or believed the Word. Wake up ❤️
