I was praising the Lord in the Throne Room to Kim Walker Smith- Let Revival In – youtu.be/cFGr1NmZHmE?si=ShtkH4_kSv3T-XKV Richy Clark- You are Holy youtu.be/jslcffcZsTo?si=Jc6Yo0gn3bf-YnUR

The line that Randy Clark sings, “Lord let the pillars of our nation shake…” I cried out, o Lord, on behalf of our nation, forgive us Lord for raising up counterfeit gods and placing them on high places in our hearts. Forgive us for believing lies and lifting our eyes to other things that compete for Your adoration and affection! Lord, contend with every pillar of our nation- shake them- and raise up Josiah’s and Hezekiah’s that You embolden to tear down the ungodly and counterfeit idols that sit in high places of our government, education, economy, families, entertainment, media and the Church. I release the high praise of God and declare for He alone deserves all worship and praise and the honour and the glory forever! Let our nation return to it’s first love- Jesus! “Whereas Canada is founded on principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law.” (Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms) Let it be so! In Jesus name! Amen!

VISION: I found myself standing in front of a ripe golden wheat field. Jesus was standing beside me on my left, then walked to the edge of the crop and broke off some kernels of wheat. He then walked over to a neighbouring field and threw some of the seeds into a small area that had just been plowed. Then He gave me some seeds and said, “Sometimes the seeds that are thrown, land on rocky places where there are cracks but they can grow.” Jesus reminded me of the little fir tree I saw growing in a crack among the rocks by a lake when we were out near Banff, AB. It was the height of a basic water bottle and I marveled how it had grown out from the crack in the rock. (see photo above. The photo of the mature tree was found on-line).

Then my perspective changed as I tried to throw seed that Jesus gave me into a different area but the wind came up and the seed returned to me.

INTERPRETATION: Sometimes when I go out with a ministry team on the streets to be the hands and feet of Jesus, it’s easier to be confident when the seeds sown have been clearly received and there is immediate change. But then there are times when I wonder what I said even registered at all. With this vision and what Jesus said, I’m reminded that the seeds of Jesus thrown even onto unlikely soil- rocky places- can produce growth. It’s my job to be obedient and plant even if I don’t think it will make any difference. Because it’s Jesus who will work with those little seeds drawing them to Him which in His timing will begin and can eventually grow into a mature tree producing fruit. People will respond differently to the gospel or an encounter with the Holy Spirit. Jesus commissioned us to go out into all nations and Peter exhorted us to always give the reason for the hope you have in gentleness and respect. When we walk out the Kingdom of God on earth, we are working with Him, in Him, through Him and for Him. It’s the only way we can be obedient and plant seeds; even in the most unlikely of places.

The flip of this, Jesus reminded me the importance of good discernment; when to throw His seeds. The seeds that the wind returned to me can represent not discerning when to release God’s truth. Sometimes we come into circumstances where our seed is mocked and blasphemed; like a volatile and hostile environment. It is important that you discern what the Holy Spirit is doing and saying and be obedient. Sometimes He will say no. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. They may not respect your boundaries and actually attack you. I was thinking about the scripture in Matt 7:6, “Do not give what is holy to dogs; do not cast your pearls before swine or they will trample them underfoot and tear you to pieces.” I was also reminded of the instruction given to the disciples in Mark 6:1, “And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” To me it’s a bit harsh but you can’t make anyone listen to you. Sometimes it’s better to walk away and wait for a new opportunity. I think prayer is helpful here as God may plow someone’s heart with our persistent prayers. Even the hardest of hearts can be softened by Jesus. I just have to discern the environment and be obedient.

SCRIPTURE: John 6:44 Jesus said, “No one can come to Me unless the Father draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.”

Matt 28:19 “Therefore, go and make people from all nations into disciples, baptizing them in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit…”

1 Peter 3:15 “In your hearts, honour Christ as Lord, always be prepared to give a defense to anyone who asks the reason for the hope you have. But respond in gentleness and respect.”
