Uganda Mission and word given

Sammy Omosh
Kenya 🇰🇪
For those who can remember what the Lord assigned me to do way back in July 2025 (it’s documented here), I can now say I have done the assignment. I arrived in the border town of Busia in the morning hours of 10th December 2025. A relative of mine was there to receive me, and in fact, he had been ready since August to host me.
A day before I went, I made a call to alert him of my intended visit. I was surprised when he said, “I tried calling you yesterday but I could not access you. I called your mom to pass this information to you.” She also forgot to pass this much-needed info on time. I had an unusual urge to call him without knowing he had tried to contact me. When I found him, the question was, “When are you coming?” and I replied, “Tomorrow.”
After arriving, we went to his apartment, and after a quick breakfast, off we went. We walked across a footpath for about ten minutes and passed about three Kenyan policemen sitting under a tree (it was 10:30 a.m.). They neither stopped us nor asked any questions. After a few steps, my host exclaimed, “We are in no man’s land!”
A few steps later, we passed Ugandan police forces without any immigration procedure, and officially we were now in Uganda. I had no phone network problem—only a welcoming message from the Ugandan telco, MTN.
After a few steps, we were on the main highway. I could now see the main immigration border post to our right, just less than a five-minute walk. I had passed through it on two previous visits. (The first was my trip to the capital city, and on my last visit, I had just renewed my previous passport and wanted it stamped.)
You wouldn’t believe it—we walked for close to four hours, seeing places right inside Uganda and at the same time making prophetic declarations on the leadership of the country. The sun was hot, but that didn’t deter my mission.
The last time I was around this area, it was on a Sunday. I saw a large circular church that was still being built, with worshippers gathered. I entered to join the service for about an hour. I could sense the Spirit moving there, and everyone was excited. This time, I saw it is now a beautiful sanctuary with an extremely wonderful lawn. There were two guys working outside. I hope the Spirit is still present like years ago.
Many of the citizens have never known what a change of regime feels like. It is always the same face, the same leadership. I proclaimed, “Pharaoh, let the people go!” From the story of Exodus, Pharaoh will never let you go just like that without a fight. If he becomes stubborn after the vote on 12/1/26, then he will have to endure the dealings of Yah, no matter how long it takes.
What surprised me is that as we walked along the road going to Tororo, it is the same neglected road for years, yet Tororo is the home of cement manufacturing. When I asked my host why it was so, his reply was that it is the base of opposing voices. From Busia, Gulu, Tororo, Jinja, Mukono, Kampala, etc., it is time you get leadership that you deserve. It doesn’t matter if his son is the head of the army. Who is best suited to fight Yah and win?
I told you in that July prophecy—Yah has many ways of sending Pharaoh packing. It may not necessarily be through the ballot.
A Ugandan native told me, “In the last contest he never won against the former musician, who again is the main challenger.” When I prayed before leaving for Uganda, I felt a dark cloud hovering over the Ugandan skies. Again, it is your responsibility—the natives—to pray for your country. We can assist as led.
Many businesses are barely surviving from my observation. (The last time I visited, businesses were thriving here in the border town, and it was very busy. This time, I saw a relaxed atmosphere with not much going on.) If there is political turbulence after the main vote count, it would be disastrous. You won’t sell stuff at Sofia Market or Soko Posta. The sellers are Ugandan traders, and the main buyers are Kenyans.
I was impressed by the main cereal market in Uganda. There is a variety of cereal and fish sold in kilograms, and the prices are low compared to other nations you may benchmark with. The story of Joseph’s brothers going to Egypt to buy grain came to my mind. This is a huge market whose construction was funded by the World Bank and built to specification. I would recommend people living in western Kenya to consider this place. If it wouldn’t be affected in supply terms during the coming famine, then it would be a Goshen by itself.
I cannot forget the order at the main bus terminus. There is such seamless order of vehicles going to various destinations—e.g., Jinja, Kampala, etc. We had no papers, yet if it was our wish, we could travel anywhere we wanted and be back without any hitch or setback.
On our way back to Kenya, we bought some soft drinks while walking and also bought some Ugandan wheat snacks fried in oil called “kablagala.” Oh, it was very soft and delicious. When we reached home, it was almost 3 p.m. (We had a safe exit from Uganda back to Kenya.) A kid in the house switched on the TV and called me to watch the Moses movie (The Ten Commandments). The part that played out was, “Let my people go,” and we stopped watching where Pharaoh’s army drowned in the Red Sea. Was that not what I had uttered—“Let the people go”—while walking on Ugandan soil?
In the evening, we took a stroll on the Kenyan side. There is a huge influx of Somali natives and mosques on the Kenyan border side. At dusk, when we were back, I stood up high on the balcony watching the scenes in Uganda. After dinner, I was tired and fell asleep quickly.
But it was not over. I was awakened to pray at around 2 a.m. At 2:48 a.m., while still in prayer, I heard: “NEW BEGINNINGS FOR UG, TZ, AND KE.” It was not dissected further. I knew in the very near future sudden political changes will occur in the three East Africa nations that will shock many. We have brought awareness to many through the prophetic words given for some time now.
When I drifted back to sleep, I saw we were entering a car fitted with a loudspeaker to go fishing for lost souls. I knew it was Team Evangelism. I was awakened by my host in the morning. He told me he had a quick errand to do in Uganda and would be back on time to see me off.
Previously, my host had health challenges—a kidney problem, loose urinary bladder, and swollen feet. In the four hours we walked, there was no complaint. When we woke up the next morning, I expected some issues to arise, but there were none. As a matter of fact, he walked back to the adjacent county that early morning! When he came back, I laid my hands on his legs and the kidney area and commanded the healing anointing upon him for a minute. I said, “It is done; the devil must take flight.”
The daughter prayed for my journey back home, and I sensed tremendous anointing upon her. God is beginning to raise teens for future greater works. Age is nothing in the vineyard of the Lord. There was a word of knowledge inside that prayer uttered. How would she know, if not for Ruach?
Jeremiah 33:14
Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
