Tsunami Dream

This dream, which was granted by the Holy Spirit, occurred four days ago. In the dream I was at a work function, possibly at a hotel, and realised I was incorrectly dressed. I knew there to be a sense of urgency. I returned to my room, located four or five levels up, to get changed. As I did so I heard a terrible noise and lots and lots of screaming. As I walked out onto the balcony to investigate, I realised that the building I was in was adjacent to an airport, which itself was next to a port with several ships in it. As I looked out I was horrified to see a number of aircraft on the runway that were being swamped by a tsunami. People were scrambling to exit the various aircraft, and screaming for help. It was clear they had been caught by surprise. I looked to my right and the ships in the harbour were also succumbing to the tsunami with some fighting to stay afloat. People on those vessels also screaming for help. My immediate thought was to work out who I could save but then the dream ended abruptly.

My first thought was that in previous dreams, aircraft had often been a metaphor for the rapture. Possibly these were people preparing for the rapture but that had been caught out as unready and were begging to be saved. I have had a few dreams where aircraft have also referred to the global economy, and along with the ships in harbour, might be reference to an event that will seriously impact the international economy.

A week earlier I had had a dream of standing in front of a tornado, except the tornado was made of sand – possible a reference to an event that will occur in the Middle East.
