Ezekiel 33:1-9 KJV Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, [2] Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: [3] If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; [4] Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. [5] He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. [6] But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. [7] So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. [8] When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. [9] Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Romans 14:12 KJV So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Matthew 12:36 KJV But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Matthew 12:36 KJV But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Proverbs 23:19 KJV Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way. James 3:1 KJV My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. 2 Timothy 3:1-3 KJV This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Ephesians 4:30 KJV And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
As you continue to read prophecy’s posted here and other places, be mindful of the Words spoken and ask the Holy Spirit, do they reflect scripture? At times, I spend hours sometimes researching the written Word to show how a Word given to me is rooted in scripture, it is not unusual for me to spend twelve or more hours in prayer and research before sending it for “publication”. Those who do NOT furnish supporting/relevant scripture along with what is “shared as being inspired by the Holy Spirit” are doing themselves, the reader and especially the Lord, a grave disservice. How easy it is to have something “sound about right” but be very wrong because the individual misunderstands a scripture and “Word” is in actuality creation of their own doing, which is a form of Divination!! This is more common than you think.
Much of what Jesus spoke in His teachings referenced the Old Testament. If scripture was important enough for Jesus to quote when giving discourse, then is it not required of those, who are His servants to do likewise? John 13:16
Frankly, I find it frustrating when I read certain things that are obviously not Holy Spirit inspired because I know what has been shared is based on the person’s beliefs and opinions rather than based upon scripture (which is absent). I know they are misleading the body and it seems that no one else seems to care! While for some this is a result of laziness and most do so because they know if it sounds “good” then they have you roped into their “prophesying” be warned! If you haven’t been told, this is dangerous! It would be better for you to sit and read the Scripture than ever take the time to consult a current “prophecy” about the present day! We are to have Scripture written on our hearts and minds. We are told to meditate upon it day and night. Deuteronomy 11:13, Proverbs 3:3, Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:2
Scripture says you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free! John 8:32 If it isn’t true, then it is a lie which leads to bondage and misunderstanding. Those individual’s who are posting these inaccurate messages on the internet and on you tube and tik tok and other forums will answer to God for misleading His sheep! This is not to be taken lightly for as a reader, you are responsible for what you allow to influence you, if you are ignorant of the Word, you will easily be misled by others, particularly by “pastors” and “deacons” and others boasting credentials! Study to show thyself approved a watchman rightly dividing the Word (in other words, educate yourself, so these liars do not mislead you)! Proverbs 4:23, 1 Timothy 3:1-10
I know some will believe that I am too harsh. I tell you, I am not. These false claims by people supposedly serving God, grieves Him greatly! He gave us the written Word to show us His love for His people, yet we neglect it and put it on the shelf to collect dust. People in other nations will make great sacrifices and even endanger themselves and family just for the opportunity to own it. God sends His angels and His Holy Spirit to watch over what He spoke in order that He can perform it. It has power! When it is misquoted or intentionally misstated for man’s purposes, then it makes a mockery of God! Jeremiah 1:12, Ezekiel 12:25
Do not grieve the Holy Spirit! Ask Him before you read a post, is this from You, Holy Lord? Ask Him after, is this true? How can I apply it to my life? What do I need to understand further? What action do I need to take? These are all legitimate questions and since He watches over His Word to bring forth action, these questions will bring results.
