THEY WILL NEVER LEAVE CALIFORNIA

I am sharing here, an encounter I had that illustrates the mindset and heart attitude of the average Christian.

My niece married an American. They lived in America for a number of years and then moved here to Australia so my niece could be nearer family. They are professing Christians. I love them both dearly.

On the weekend we were at a family event together and I asked the American husband if he had friends in California.

He said yes, he has a number of friends who live in California.

I told him in some detail about the earthquake that will utterly destroy California shortly. I told him his friends need to leave there post-haste.

He said “they” meaning his friends, “will never leave there”.

I did not get the impression that he was going to tell his friends what is soon to befall them. In fact, since I returned home, I have had ‘a knowing’ that he has no intention whatsoever of telling these friends about the earthquake. Because he is not sure in his heart that what I told him is what is going to happen. He is just going to ‘wait and see’.

This is the mindset we are dealing with.

A people who WILL NOT BELIEVE!
